Ch.23: Sakura

I sighed and got up, wincing several times.

Neji walked beside me to make sure I didn't fall over again.

"I'm fine!" I said as I shooed him away so I could walk by myself.

"Just taking precautions." He stated while eyeing my unbalanced state.

I huffed and continued walking, well limping to the proctor.

Neji laughed at this and I found myself fighting off a smile.

 "Are you ready Sakura? Dosu?" The proctor asked.

We both nodded.

"Begin!" The proctor yelled.

"I'm going to crush you!" Dosu roared.

"Nice to know in advance I guess." I shrugged as I dodged his fist.

We engaged in a taijutsu battle, neither of us giving in.

I came close to hitting him but he'd jump away at the last second.

As if he knew my exact move.

After ten minutes straight I jumped backwards.

I was panting heavily, while Dosu, on the other hand, didn't even break a sweat.

"I know your technique so don't think I will be as dumb as Zaku." Dosu snarled as we circled around.

He swung his leg at me but I jumped up over it.

I threw a punch which he easily blocked.

"I'm not expecting you too. I think you're going to lose for sure though." I said as I swiftly ducked, avoiding a chakra filled punch.

"Why is that?" Dosu demanded as he furiously swung,kicked,and tried to punch me.

I evaded every move but the last one was a close call.

"A ninja must always be ready for the unexpected, so I have a final trump card if I really need it, which I might use today since I'm already vulnerable to most of your favorite attacks." I shrugged.

"Its basic shinobi tactics." I continued while weaving in and out, dodging, and repeating my evasion methods.

"Enough talk princess. Its time for the real thing." He said as we both jumped opposite from each other.

I gritted my teeth as he raised his sound device.

My weakness was mostly sound because I couldn't avoid or face it right now because I am already close to exhaustion 'cause of my chakra levels.

"You see, when i send sound waves through water, it results in making a much more powerful wave. I can take you down from the inside with it. And guess what your body has the most of Miss Medical Ninja." Dosu taunted.

I gasped once I realized what he was getting at.

"Water." I whispered.

"That's right little girl." Dosu said as he readied his device at me.

There was no point in dodging sound, since sound is everywhere.

" Sound Style: Resonating Echo Drill!" Dosu exclaimed.

I immediately fell to the ground.

I felt nauseous, like my inside were churning inside of me waiting to spill out.
