I've never been so nervous for a match in my life. I was facing Rayner Putter. She's from Russia and she's fearless. I know if I just keep my mind right I can take her. There was a knock on the door and I opened it walking out. I made sure my gloves were right. I walked out and looked through the crowd. My family was sitting front row. Hedi who was the little girl who needed a heart transplant surgery was sitting close in the front with her mum and father. I got in the ring and took off my hood.

"Deep breaths."

Parker said and I nodded.

Roman's pov
"Roman she doesn't look so good."

My mom said.

"She has this. She can't let her get to her. "

I said grabbing her hand. Brody was sitting in my lap waiting. The bell rung and the match started.

Jesse Glynn had blood gushing from her face and bruises forming everywhere. She wasn't giving up. There wasn't that much time left for the last round to end.

"Come on Jesse."

I whispered.

"You got this."

"Jesse Glynn does it! She hits the striker on Rayner Putter! Will this be it!"

Rayner lifted her other arm. I looked and Jesse added more pressure. She tapped!

"Rayner Putter taps out!"

Jesse let's go and got up going to her corner limping and holding her ribs. She took off her gloves and went over to Rayner. She held out her hand and Rayner shook it. Jesse turned around walking back to her corner when Rayner attacked her from behind.

Punch after punch kick after kick I couldn't get away from her. I heard parts of my body snap, but I couldn't move to defend myself. They finally got her off of me and out of the ring. Medics and Parker came rushing over. There was no sound coming from the arena.

"Jesse can you hear me?"

"Yes."

I said through my mouth guard. They took it out. My eyes got droopy.

"We need a stretcher!"

Someone yelled. I was lifted on the stretcher and out of the ring.

"Wait!"

I said sitting up slowly. I got up and off the stretcher.

"What is she doing! Jesse Glynn is getting off of the stretcher."

I went getting the check for $50,000. I limped over to Hedi. She looked at me.

"I went in that ring tonight to get you that heart transplant. Now you're getting it."

I gave her mum the check and Hedi hugged me. I hugged her back making sure I didn't get any blood on her. I went and limped back to my locker room and collapsed on the floor.

Jacey's pov
We were walking to Jesse Glynn's locker room when her door was wide open and yelling was happening. I ran and saw they were putting her on a stretcher and she wasn't responding to anything. I started to cry. I was pulled into someone. I looked and it was dad holding a crying Brody too. I cried into his shirt.

Roman's pov
I held a crying Brody and Jacey in my arms covering their face of what was going on with Jesse Glynn. I turned walking to my car putting both of them in the back. I quickly got in and waited for the ambulance to leave. I quickly followed behind them and got a now sleeping Brody out of the car. Jacey was still crying, but got out. We went in and rushed to the front desk.

"Jesse Glynn Reigns?"

I asked.

"I'm sorry, but she's in surgery and will be for a while. You will have to wait in the waiting room. "

The lady said. I grabbed Jacey's hand and walked to the waiting room which was completely empty. I sat down and sat Jacey on my other knee since Brody was sleep on the other one. She buried her head in my shirt still crying.

"Shh it will be okay. She'll make it through it."

I try to calm her and me down at the same time. Melanie rushed in with my mom. They both looked at me.

"She's in surgery. she'll be there for a while. "

I said looking down at Jacey who had fallen asleep. I wiped the fallen tear off and kissed her and Brody's foreheads. I closed my eyes and rubbed their backs.

Brody's pov
That girl hurt my sissy. When I find her I'm gonna superman punch her and spear her. Then I will do my sissy's move called the striker.

Roman's pov
9 hours later
It was now eight o'clock. Jesse Glynn has been in surgery for nine hours. I stayed up not being able to sleep like everyone else. A nurse came in later last night and gave us blankets. I wrapped it around Jacey and Brody so they wouldn't get cold.

"Jesse Glynn!"

Melanie quickly got up. I couldn't move since I had Jacey and Brody.

"How is she?"

Melanie asked.

"She went through surgeries because she suffered from a broken leg, arm, her left rib cage was completely shattered, her hip was dislocated, and her throat. We had to do a surgery because her esophagus was swelling and it wouldn't let air pass through. "

"When can we see her?"

"You can go now, but she'll be resting from the surgeries to get all of the anesthetics out of her system."

I woke up Jacey.

"Jesse Glynn is out of surgery now."

I whispered.

"Can we go see her?"

I nodded and she sat rubbing her eyes. She stood up and I got up still holding a sleeping Brody. Melanie and my mom folded up all the blankets.

Jacey grabbed my hand.

"She's in room 438E."

Melanie said and I nodded walking down the hall. We found the room and I quietly opened the door. I held it open and everyone walked in. I looked and Jesse laid as if she wasn't alive. There was a tube down her throat so she could get air, she had stitches by her eyebrow, and her temple, her leg and arm were in cast, and her ribs were wrapped up. Jacey went to her bed and grabbed her hand. She started crying.

"Why did this have to happen? You did nothing to deserve this. "

She cried harder. Melanie pulled her in a hug crying herself. Brody stirred in his sleep and slowly woke up.

"Where Jesse?"

He asked me.

"She over there little man."

I said pointing to the bed. He turned and looked and his eyes instantly started to water. I pulled him in a hug and he started crying.

"She's gonna be okay bubby."

I whispered calling him the nickname Jesse Glynn calls him.

"She...sh...sh.. sh..she hurt."

Brody said crying harder.

"I know. She'll be okay."

I said and a tear slid down my own face.
