I have my match this week and I haven't slept. It's seriously eat, run, box repeat. If I do eat it's a granola or fruit nothing major. I run on the treadmill in the gym in our basement. We turned it into a gym since we had the basement. Anyway since the match was in Pensacola grandma was coming. I think she said everyone else was coming, but I don't know. It was windy here which was unusual so I put on something comfy. We pulled up at grandma and grandpa's. I got out and ran to the door ringing the doorbell. Grandpa opened it and smiled.

"Jesse."

"Hi grandpa. Where's grandma?"

I asked hugging him.

"She's in the kitchen."

I let him go and ran in.

"Grandma!"

"Hi Jesse!"

I smiled and went hugging her. She kissed my forehead.

"You look pretty."

"Thank you. "

I went to the stove.

"What you making?"

"Spaghetti and meatballs."

"Yummy. Need any help?"

"No I have everything sweetie."

I nodded. I went and got some lemonade.

"Grandma you seriously make the best lemonade ever."

I said drinking the rest of it.

"You drink it any faster you're gonna waste it."

She said wiping my face. Dad walked in.

"Hey mom."

He went hugging her. I went over to the pot looking in it.

"Jesse Glynn Reigns get out of my pot."

Grandma said and playful hit me with the towel. I lifted my hands backing away.

"I'm moving, I'm moving."

She smiled. I went and jumped on the counter.

"You ready for Saturday?"

She asked. I nodded.

"Yes it feels good to be back in the ring after so long."

"Do you know who you're facing?"

"No. Rayner and Bianca have a match Friday which I'm gonna go watch and which ever one of them wins gets to face me on Saturday."

She nodded.

"Where's Brody?"

She asked.

"In the living room with dad talking about wrestling. "

Dad said.

"Jacey will be here in the morning she had to go to California."

Grandma nodded.

"Alright Jesse you can taste the spaghetti now."

"Yes!"

I jumped off the counter. She put a little in a plate and I got a fork.

"Grandma."

"Yes?"

"I want a plate full."

She smiled taking the plate.

"Ro you may want to tell Brody and Sika that dinner is ready before Jesse eats it all."

Grandma said getting more plates. I went and sat at the counter. She sat a plate by me.

"Keep your hands off it's for Brody."

He ran in and hugged grandma.

"Hi Brody."

Grandma said kissing his head.

"I heard you made spaghetti!"

"Yours is beside Jesse."

"No she'll eat it!"

He ran and climbed the stool. I looked at him stuffing my face.

"Jesse!"

Grandma said and wiped my mouth.

"You get that from your father. "

"No she doesn't!"

Dad said with a mouthful of spaghetti.

"See what I mean. "

"It's really good spaghetti. "

I said eating more.

"I'm so full!"

I groaned falling on the couch.

"You ate three plate fulls."

Dad said sitting by me.

"It kept calling out to me."

I said unbuttoning my cardigan.

"Who wants cake?"

I heard grandma.

"Cake!"

I got up running into the kitchen.

"I want a big one."

I said jumping up and down. She cut me a piece of chocolate cake. I walked back in the living room stuffing my face with cake.

"Seriously Jacey missed out on life."

"Sweetie chew with your mouth closed."

Lauren said walking in.

"I got cake. Shh."

I went sitting down on the floor. She laughed walking into the kitchen.

"Who ate all of the spaghetti!"

"Jesse!"

"No I didn't Brody ate all of it!"

"No I didn't grandpa did!"

"No I didn't it was Roman!"

"Hey!"

He said. Everyone came in with cake. We sat eating, talking, and playing games.

"See you Saturday grandpa."

I said hugging him.

"I have something for you. "

"You do?"

He grabbed my hand and walked into the empty living roon. He opened my hand putting a necklace in it with golden boxing gloves on it.

"The golden gloves, but how?"

"You weren't the only one who was a boxer, but lets just keep that to ourselves."

I smiled hugging him. He hugged me back and I walked back to the door. I hugged grandma.

"See you tomorrow sweetie."

"I'm training all day tomorrow?"

"I know. I'm coming to watch."

I smiled. I hugged her one last time. We went and got in the car. I looked down at the necklace grandpa gave me.

"What's that?"

Dad asked. I quickly closed my hand.

"Something grandpa gave me."

"What did he give you?"

"I can't tell you. I promised him to keep it our secret. "

He kissed my forehead and started driving home. We pulled up. He went and opened the boot. I went getting my suitcases out. We all went in.

"Jesse Glynn I finished your room since it was just a guest room at first. I didn't know what you liked and I didn't want it to be like your mom's house so I hope you like it."

He opened the door and I walked in. I looked around gasping.
