Bai Wei opened his eyes to find himself in a room with white walls. In front of him lay precision instruments such as glass beakers, pipettors, incubators, and many more that he could not name. They were laid on a similarly white countertop. Bai Wei concluded that he was in a laboratory of some kind.

It was a very strange laboratory though. The walls, countertops, and floor were all a pristine white color. It was a kind of white that was only achievable through extremely frequent and thorough cleaning

Additionally, above him hung a large fluorescent light that reflected on all of the white and metal surfaces within the room, giving the white walls and countertops an almost unreal gleam. The glow stung Bai Wei's eyes a bit and he squinted them while he adjusted to his situation.

This room faintly reminded Bai Wei of the seclusion rooms in asylums with the harsh lighting and apparent lack of color.

The only color in the entire room was in his hand. In Bai Wei's hand was a volumetric flask that was filled with a suspiciously glowing green liquid.

Looking down further, Bai Wei observed himself. The original owner of this body resembled the room. He was dressed in a white lab coat and matching pants. Bai Wei guessed that it was the habit of the original owner to surround himself with nothing but the color white.

Bai Wei swirled the suspicious emerald colored liquid in the flask as he prepared to look at the background for this world,but his plans were quickly foiled. Before Bai Wei could ask Lu to provide him with the plot and world settings, one of the doors connected to the room opened. A man walked in through the door in a hurried manner

He was tall, rugged, and very muscular with short black hair. He was wearing aviator sunglasses, and a well-fitted black military uniform that perfectly outlined his muscles. His clothes showed that he was obviously some kind of military personnel and his aura only served to complement his appearance. He looked like the very definition of power.

The man took off his sunglasses to reveal yellow glowing eyes that seemed to pierce into Bai Wei's soul. The man opened his mouth to speak, but Bai Wei found that he couldn't hear what he was saying. Bai Wei focused on this matter when Lu chimed in his ear cutting off his line of thought.

Bai Wei was surprised to find his lover so quickly. He took in the information and then looked at his lover in this world with more attention than before. Biao feng had moved from the door and was now standing in front of him. His mouth was obviously moving but Bai Wei could hear no sound coming out. Bai Wei looked around the room and realized that it wasn't just Biao Feng. He couldn't hear any sound at all. After all, it was impossible that a state-of-the-art laboratory like this one would be perfectly silent. He should at least hear the hum of the air conditioner.

Bai Wei thought that this was a good idea and ignored Biao Feng who was now staring at him as if expecting a response. He walked towards a small room over to the side, completely ignoring Biao Feng. It was a small break room, complete with a small countertop with a kettle and some granola bars. Additionally, over to the side was a cabinet filled with ornate dishware.
