Bai Wei opened his eyes to find himself in a starch white room. Precision instruments such as glass beakers, sterilization chambers, and many more devices were all laid out before his eyes on a similarly white countertop. Above him hung a fluorescent light that reflected on all of the white and metal surfaces within the room, giving the white walls and countertops an almost unreal gleam. The glow hurt Bai Wei's eyes a bit and he squinted them while he adjusted to his situation.
The room faintly reminded Bai Wei of the seclusion rooms in asylums with the harsh lighting and apparent lack of color. In fact, the only color in the entire room was in his hand. In Bai Wei's hand was a volumetric flask that was filled with a suspiciously glowing green liquid.
Looking down further, Bai Wei observed his clothing. The original owner resembled the room. Dressed in a white lab coat and matching pants, it seemed that it was the habit of the original owner to surround himself with nothing, but the color white. After taking in his circumstances, Bai Wei swirled the suspicious liquid in the flask as he prepared to look at the background for this world.
Before Bai Wei could talk to Hua one of the doors connected to the room and a tall, rugged man walked in. He had short black hair, aviator sunglasses, and was dressed in a well-fitted black military uniform that perfectly outlined his muscles. He looked like the very definition of power. The man took off his sunglasses to reveal yellow glowing eyes that seemed to pierce into Bai Wei's soul. The man opened his mouth to speak, but Bai Wei was surprised to find that he couldn't hear what he was saying. Bai Wei focused on this matter when Lu chimed in his ear cutting off his line of thought.

Bai Wei was surprised to find his lover so quickly, he took in the information while observing his lover in this world. Biao feng was now standing in front of him, his mouth was obviously moving but Bai Wei could hear no sound coming out. Bai Wei suddenly realized that he couldn't hear any sound at all. It was certainly strange to hear nothing in a state-of-the-art laboratory like this one.

Bai Wei thought that this was a good idea and ignored Biao Feng who was now staring at him as if expecting a response. He walked towards the kettle over to the side and turned it on. He then picked out a tea set from the cabinet on the side with two ornate blue teacups. He stared at the kettle warming up as he reviewed the original host's memories as well as this world's plot line.
This was a modern supernatural world ranked as A level. In this world, there people called espers and guides. Espers were seen as the new evolution of mankind, not only were they stronger and faster than most people, but they also possessed supernatural abilities like the ability to control water, the power of electricity, the ability to hear other's thoughts, and so much more. In exchange for their superhuman abilities, the espers only had one downside. Their bodies were still human and could not contain all of this excess power. This is where guides come in. Guides were like ordinary humans in most aspects except for the fact that they had a unique power to quell the rampaging superhuman abilities within espers.
The plot line this time was actually centered around Biao Feng. It was an action-based adventure about how the loyal soldier Biao Feng was betrayed by his corrupt legion and forced to take the blame for the evil doings of his superiors as a scape goat. From there the story would progress as he escaped from the clutches of the legion and then gathered evidence and like-minded subordinates before exposing the evils of the 1st legion. Completely dismantling it before rebuilding it as a clean military legion under his command.
In all of this, the original host was a small side character in the original story. The original owner was an orphan who lost his hearing at the age of ten after an older kid in the orphanage pushed him down during a petty squabble, causing him to hit his head. This incident caused him to become very withdrawn from the outside world. To escape reality, he instead buried himself in the world of science and became a single minded workaholic, completely devoted to his studies. His hard work allowed him to enter a prestigious university and eventually land a researcher's position in the 1st legions division. He was now the only member of the 1st legion's biological research division, and this laboratory was his private workspace.
But why would Biao Feng, who was currently on the run, now risk exposure by coming to him?
The answer was simple; Bai Wei was the person who created the first guiding antidote that could quell an esper's rampage without needing a guide. Something extremely valuable to an esper on the run like Biao Feng.
After understanding all of the information about the world, Bai Wei finally understood what was going on in the world. According to the current plot line, during this encounter Bai Wei was supposed to cower to Biao Feng and give him all of the supplies he needed. This would give Biao Feng a good impression of Bai Wei and he would later reach out to him via inconspicuous channels during Bia Feng's hiding. The two would become fast friends with Bai Wei eventually becoming Biao Feng's ultimate weapon in overthrowing the leaders of the 1st legion.
With all of this in mind, Bai Wei once again looked at the glowing green liquid in the flask that he had been holding when he first arrived. Then he looked at the tea... and then the flask.
Finally, ignoring Hua's surprised gasps, he dumped a bit of the contents of the flask into one of the teacups and before turning and walking out of the break room towards Biao Feng.
Smiling gently Bai Wei raised the tray caring the teacups as he said "tea?".
Author here!! We are now 1/4th done with the arcs I have planned for this story!!! Additionally, Its so late in the story but I was toying with the idea of adding some more spicy scenes throughout this book so you may see that more in this upcoming arc!
Beyond that, this is one of my favorite arcs that I have planned out for this story so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!!
