Chapter - 9( HOTEL DECENT)

Hotel Decent :
MaNan entered inside the hotel..oblivious of which
game their cruel destiny is going to play on them..
Nandini instantly wrapped her scarf around manik's
face..so that no one recognize him..
Manik : "hawww..tum mujhe kidnap karhi ho..."...he
asked her..in a babyish tone..Nandini glared at him..as
he was trying remove the scarf from his face..he
instantly stopped as he saw her glaring at him..and he
start looking down..
Nandini : "agar ab tumne ek word aur bola..then i
swear..mai yahan se jaa rahi hoon..and you stay
here.."..she threatened him..and her arrow directly hit
on the bull's eye..as manik instantly put finger on his
lips..and nodded a NO to her..like a small 2 year baby..
Nandini then held his hand..and came on the
counter..of the receptionist..
Nandini : "i want two rooms.."she said holding manik
hand..while he was playing with her bangles..
Manager : he look at nandini with a dirty smile "kyu
ma'am ek room mei kaam nahi hoga kya.."...
Nandini : "apse jitna kaha hai..utna kijeye..bakwas
karna mat..warna i will dig your grave right here..2
rooms..jaldi...she said in a stern tone glaring at
him..manager really got scared with her daring look..
Manager : "woh..room toh ek he khali hai..."..he said in
a scaring tone as what if she will burst into anger on
him..this girl really scared him..
Nandini (s.t) : "why me?...you really love to torture me
na..now..this..pata nahi ..aur kya kya dekhna baaki
hai is raat mei.."...she complained to her aiyappa..
Nandini : "theek hai..ek he room de do.."..she said..as
manik was really going out of control..he was
continuously moving his index finger from her shoulder
to her wrist..she was glaring at him...but all her efforts
were going in vain.. as in return he was giving her broad
smile..
She took Manik with him..and while moving
upstairs..manik..threw her scarf from his face..but she
instantly put it back on his face...but to their dismay
manager saw his face..
Manager : "yeh toh MANIK MALHOTRA hai..."...he said
in shock..
They both moved upstairs and entered inside the
room..Nandini made him sit on the bed and called on
the receptionist to send lemon water and a half lemon...
Manik stood up on the bed and start dancing while
singing "kabhi aaiyne pe likha tujhe..."...Nandini
slapped her palm on her head and put one hand on her
waist..
Nandini : "kya karu mai ab iska..jab..khudko handle
nahi kar sakta ...toh peeta kyu hai ..yeh..."...she
murmured to herself..while he was dancing on the bed..
Nandini came towards the bed and
shouted.."manik..stop..neeche aao abhi.."..she
shouted in anger..
Manik : instantly made a baby face and came down
looking towards "tum hamesha dantti kyu rehti ho.."..he
said in a babyish voice..she glared at him..
Nandini : "tum hamesha dant khane ke kaam kyu karte
ho.."...she retorted..
Manik : "because i love to tease you..aur jab tum dantti
ho na..bahut cute lagti ho.."..he said while pulling her
cheeks with a grin on his face..
Nandini made a angry face on his stupid answer..if this
happened 3 years back..she must be smiling on his
cute antics..but their lives today has turned 360
degree..nothing is same like before..not their
relation..not their place..but their is still one thing that
is still norm..and it is..their love for each other..which
depict in their eyes..
Nandini : "tum chup chap yahan baitho.."..she ordered
him as she heard a knock on the door..he sat down on
the bed..after putting his finger on lips and giving a
stupid foolish grin to her..which was irritating her
badly..
She opened the door..and there is a small 12 year old
kid..came to give lemon water..he gave a smile to her
and handover the tray to her..and he saw THE MANIK
MALHOTRA sitting on the bed..making a baby like
face..putting finger on his lip..
Boy : "yeh wo jo bahut ache ache gaane gate hai
MANIK MALHOTRA hai na.."...he said in a ethusiastic
tone..
Nandini : "han yeh wahi hai..but ap kisi aur ko mat
bolna.."..she didn't lied looking at his innocent face..
Boy : "pakka..mai kisi ko nahi bataunga..par aap jaane
se pehle mujhe inka autograph dila dogi na.."..he said
in a pleading look..
Nandini : "han.."...she said with a broad smile..listening
to her yes..his face light up like a bulb..
Boy : "fir mai chalta hoon..baad mei aaunga.."..he said
and ran away ..while dancing...
Nandini closed the door and came towards manik..who
was still sitting on the bed..
Nandini : "yeh lo..pee lo.."...she forwarded him lemon
water..
He look towards her with mischief in his eyes..he stood
up..and she was confused..all this while..
Manik : "tum mujhe drink pila rahi ho.. hawww"...he
made a round face and put his palm on his
mouth..."you want to take advantage of me.."...he said
looking at her with big eyes...she so wanted to kill
him..
Nandini : "i wonder..is state mei bhi ..tum itni bakwas
kar kese lete ho.."...she said with a angry look..."pee lo
ise.."..she again forwarded him the glass..
Manik : "nahi mai nahi peeunga.."...he said while
throwing his hands and legs in upward and downward
direction..like a baby ..showing tantrums to HIS
MOM..and yes..he is also showing tantrums to his
maa ...
Nandini : "manik ..am warning you..listen..i don't have
full night to waste on you..chup chap pee lo..warna am
going.."...now she again blackmailed him..with her
same rant 'that am going..you stay here and
etc.etc...'... but deep down she knows..she won't go
away..atleast not leaving him in this state...
Manik : "ok..ok..i will drink this..but tum kahi nahi jaogi
na.."..he said making a baby like face..
Nandini : "first you drink this.."..she doesn't know what
to answer to his question..so she thought not to
answer..
Manik sat down on the bed and start drinking it
..making some cute cute pouts..she for a
second..smiled looking at him..forgetting everything
about their past..when she sat down beside her..she
instantly lay his head in her lap..
Manik : "pata hai..tumhare jaane ke baad..i ..i never
slept peacefully..tum nahi thi na..."...he start talking to
her..while she was so numb to react..
He hold her hand and put it right above his heart..and
then placed his hand on it..
Manik : "maa..i missed you..i was an idiot..maine
tumhe bahut rulaya na.."...he said last line looking
upwards to her face..while she was looking at
him..with tears in her eyes..
Nandini : "so jao.."..she was able to utter only these
words to him..
Manik : "nahi mujhe nahi sona..tum chali gai toh..nahi
mai nahi sounga.."..he said while clutching her hand
more tightly and in a stubborn voice..
She was trying to grab words..what to say..what to tell
him..she was never bad in expressing herself..but
today the circumstances are different..these 3 years
had twisted her life badly..she is totally changed..she
is no longer a talkative girl..now..she remain
silent..now..she is very very bad in expressing her
self..because..SHE IS SCARED..yes.. one
dreadful experience in a person's life..sow a seed of
fear in them..fear of heart broken again..fear of
shattering..fear of loosing... and Nandini..now..she is
one of them..
Manik : "sab pehle jaisa nahi ho sakta nandini.."..he
said looking straight..his voice was showing the pain of
his heart..she looked at him with pain in her eyes..
Nandini : "kuch bhi pehle jaisa nahi ho sakta manik..naa
tum..naa main..aur naa he hamara relationship.."..she
remarked..
Manik : "mene sab barbad kardia na..tum sahi kahi
thi..that one day my anger will leads to
biggest destruction..and see..where am today..i lost
cabir..i lost you.. sab kuch paa kar ..sab kuch kho diya
mene...".. while saying this a lone tear escaped from
corner of his eye..but before it fell down she hold
it..and captured it..in her fist..he wasn't aware of her
this move..
Nandini (s.t) : "i still hate your tears manik..even today
i can shed your part of tears.." ...she said to herself ..
Nandini : "manik..sleep.."..she again told the same
thing..but in a soft and slow voice..
Now Manik smiled and said.."okay..i will sleep..but you
will let me sleep in your lap.."..he said with a grin..she
so wanted to shut manik up..as his talks were making
her weak..so she decided to let him sleep there..
Nandini : "ok..now..sleep.."...he smiled at her
answer..he put her one hand above his heart and other
one he placed in his hairs..
Manik : "am so tired.."...he closed his eyes..and she
knows what he wants..so she softly start running her
fingers in his hairs..he placed his hand on her ..which
was on his heart..and they both didn't realized when did
sleep took them..and they both drifted into a peaceful
slumber..
After 3 long years..these too are sleeping
peacefully...otherwise all these years both of them
were tossing in their respective beds..and night passed
by like this..
Around 5 in morning nandini heard a knock on the
door..she very carefully moved out of bed after placing
manik's head on pillow..and removed her hand from his
tight hold..
She opened the door..and there was..the same small
boy..on the gate..but this time he was looking tensed..
Boy : "ma'am please jaldi nikaliye yahan se..police ki
raid hui hai.."..he was freaking out..now nandini was
very very shocked..
Nandini : "but kyu?.."..
Boy : "ma'am yeh hotel.."..he then stopped.."aap yeh
sab choriye..mai janta hoon..ap log ache log
hai..chaliye mai apko peeche ke raaste se nikal deta
hoon..jaldi kijiye.."...
Nandini immediately went inside and tried to wake up
manik..but he was in deep sleep..so she pour the whole
jug full of water on him..and he woke up with a
jerk...his head was spinning..he look towards nandini
..when she held his hand...he was about to ask
something..
Nandini : "bad mei baat karte hai..first let's go.."...and
with this she covered his face with the scarf..and they
moved out of the hotel by the help of the boy..the boy
had already called the taxi for them..they both sat
down in it and driver took them away..
In no time they both reached Farmhouse..she helped
him get out of the taxi..and Manik was looking at
her dumbfoundly ..he remembered all the moments of
night..
Manik : "woh..i shouldn't have drunk that much.."..just
when he said this ..she left his hand and look towards
him..
Nandini : "sir..apka ghar aa gaya.."..her voice was
again turned cold and her face was blank..he was
stunned..IS she is human being?...how can someone
live dual life?..yesterday ..she was something
different..and today..she is totally different?...
Just when he was about to say something..dhruv came
out of farmhouse..he greeted manik..and he in one look
to nandini recognized her..as manik has a big big
picture of her in his bed room and his maa-ni studio's
cabin as well...
Dhruv : "manik..as per your instruction..maine sab
bacho ko accommodation provide karwa diya hai..and
about NGO'S site..meri baat ho gai..we have claimed
for insurance..don't worry ..everything will be
sorted.."...he said and nandini look towards manik..
Nandini : "thank you.."..she said to manik but before he
can say anything she sat down in the taxi back and left
out..Manik was looking in her direction..
Manik (s.t) :" kash us raat ki kabhi subah na hoti,
hamarei darmiyan yeh dooriyan na hoti,
teri baahon mei reh kar ,
kat jaati saari umar,
kash us khuda ki innayat ham par ho jaati.."
He said this poem..looking towards her direction..he
then saw her scarf around his neck..he touched it..to
feel her presence..
Nandini was in taxi..just then she realized..she forgot
her bag in the hotel only..but going back their is bit
risky..so she asked the driver to take her with that
route..so that if there will be no commotion..she will
grab her bag..
Nandini reached there and saw loads of media
there..and the manager standing there ..giving
interview..she Instantly asked the driver to stop the
car..a little far..so that she can listen..whats going on
there..
Reporter : "aaj hamare samne aaya hai..B-Town ke
sabse famous star..MANIK MALHOTRA ..ka kala
sach..."...the reporter said adding spices to his voice..
2nd reporter : "sunne mei aaya hai..kal raat ..MANIK
MALHOTRA bhi is hotel mei the..toh kya hum maan
le..ki glamorous duniya ka ..kala sach aisi cheap jagah
pe aake khatam hota.."..nandini was shocked after
listening all this..
3rd Reporter : "MANIK MALHOTRA ne..puri bollywood
industry ko sharmsar kar diya hai.."
Every single media reporter was busy in framing Manik
Malhotra..and nandini was very scared..
Nandini : "manik..ka pura career is at stake..kya
karu.."..she said in a tension..
Just then she saw the same small boy..standing in a
corner looking down..and she thought something..
Nandini : "i have to do it..otherwise..manik will loose all
his dignity and his career will destroy..yes..i have to do
it.."...she said with a determination and stepped out of
taxi..
AFTER AN HOUR ...
Navniti Residence :
Nandini was in her room..sitting on the bed holding a
teddy bear in her hand...
Mukti like a storm entered inside her room..she was
very furious on her...
Mukti : "what the hell..was that?"... She shouted on
her...but Nandini was silent..looking downwards..
Mukti : " am asking you ..god damn it..answer
me..."...she raised her voice even more high this
time..but Nandini was still silent..mukti was highly
pissed this time..she with her shoulder made her stand
..
Mukti : "tujhe pata bhi hai..tere ek statement se kya ho
gaya hai..tune use toh bacha liya...but tera kya
..."...she shouted with tears in her eyes. . Now
Nandini's patience crossed all the limits ...
Nandini : "BECAUSE I LOVE HIM DAMN IT...I LOVE HIM
...YES...U HEARD ME RIGHT...I LOVE MANIK.." ...she
shouted in high pitch voice...looking directly in mukti's
eyes..making mukti shocked to the core. ...
Scene shift to maa-ni studio :
Manik was lying on the couch ..looking at the
ceiling..he was in deep thoughts...but his trance was
broke by the sound of clap ...he stood up and saw
straight...
Voice : " when whole world is set on fire... Mr. Manik
malhotra has carefree look on his face.."...the person
mocked at him...
Manik : "KAJAL.."... he said in shock...
introducing JENNIFER WINKET AS KAJAL VERMA..
she is a long lost friend of manik...she is like a sister to
him..but she is also a very good friend of nandini as
well..in all these 3 years..she also didn't contacted with
him..
Kajal : " that's right..kajal..your so called best friend or
your sister..".,she said with a sarcastic smile.."aur
kitna giroge manik"...she said with a disgusting look on
her face..he was confused..
Manik : "what do u mean kajal..".. He said in a
confusion..
Kajal turned on the L.E.D of his room and made him
look to the latest statement of Nandini..which has
created buzz all around ..
Manik was hell shocked : " what did she did.."..he said
out of shock..
Kajal : "really ! Manik..you are still thinking about
this..."., she said while looking at him..who was looking
at the TV constantly..
Kajal : " she saved you. ...by ruining herself..".,she
shouted..and continued.. "I wonder..from which sand
this girl is made...that she still loves you..".. She said
with pain in her voice. .now manik looked at her .
Kajal : " don't look at me..like this...koi blind bhi bata
dega ..that she still loves you..just look at her... Agar
wo chahti to..is info ko use kar sakti thi..air tum
overnight rockstar manik malhotra se zero ban jate
..but she didn't did that..she saved you manik...she
saved you..."...this was a reality check for him...
Kajal : "tum toh chale gae the na uski life se..fir wapas
kyu aaye..kyu manik.."... She asked him by shaking
him..
Manik : " I love her kajal..."..he said sub consciously..
Kajal : she laughed at this "toh tab yeh pyaar kaha
gaya tha..jab tum use marne ke liye chor gae the..."..
She retorted back...he start crying badly and she
hugged him tight..and she also cried...
Kajal : " plz bring her back..clear this mess manik...kab
tak wo tumhari galtiyon ki saja bhuktegi...plz jao uske
pas.."...she said after breaking the hug..and he looked
at her...
