Chapter - 12- (PAST REVEALED)

Nandini's Room :
Manik entered inside her room..she was sitting on the
bed..resting her head on the head board of bed..her
eyes were closed..tears were flowing down from them..
Manik : "nandini.."...he called her softly...she opened
her eyes and looked in her right side..and found
HIM..standing on the door...she looked at him for once
but then turned her face away..leaving him dejected..
He came inside her room..and walked towards her..he
was having so much in his heart..but still he wasn't
able to grab a single word..he sat down on the
floor..near her and placed his hand on her leg..she
instantly stood up..when he touched her feet..he looked
at her..and stood up..
Manik : "kya tum mujhe maaf nahi kar sakti..'..he
asked holding pain and sorrow in his eyes..she was
totally blanked..after long 3 years..he is asking
apology...she looked at him..tears were brimming
down her eyes..she was totally shattered..today..she
won't be able to hold back her pain and sorrow...
Nandini : "maaf?..kis liye?"..she asked as if she doesn't
know anything...
He looked at her..he wasn't expecting this type of
answer from her...
Manik : "nandini...maiii...iii"...he wasn't able to
complete his sentence..as he himself was ashamed...
Nandini : "that you BETRAYED me..you CHEATED on
me...you USED me..and THREW away..like a TISSUE
PAPER.."...she said all this holding anger and pain in
her eyes...she was looking at him with enormous anger
now..
Manik : "mujhe maaf kardo plz"..he pleaded looking in
her eyes..
Nandini : she smiled sarcastly " maaf kar dungi
manik..us din..jis din khudko maaf kar dungi ..tum jese
insaan se pyaar kar ne ke liye.."..she said holding
anger in her voice..
Manik : he looked at her .."mai manta hoon
nandini..maine tumhe DHOKA diya..i shouldn't have
done all that ..tumhari toh koi galti bhi nahi thi..and i ..i
ruined everything.."...tears were rolling down from his
eyes..
Nandini ; "meri galti thi manik..meri he galti thi..maine
TUM DONO pe bharosa kiya..TUM DONO pe..."..she
now said while crying badly..he looked at her...
Manik : he joined his hands and said "bahut pyaar karta
hoon mai tumse nandini..please mujhe maaf kar
do..please wapas aa jao.."...he said while pleading
badly...
Nandini : "mai bhi bahut pyaar karti thi tumse
manik..bahut jyada.."..she said with a heavy heart...he
closed his eyes and start crying badly..he knew..he had
committed the biggest crime ..which has no
forgiveness..still he need it..he need her..both of them
are craving for each other...but the sin which He had
done..is not letting HER come to HIM...she was also
crying badly looking at him...but she turned her
face..to hide her weeps from him..
After sometime he somehow..composed himself..and
said..she was standing facing her back to him..
Manik : "meri galtiyan bahut badhi hai nandini..but
please wapas aa jao..mujhe jarurat hai tumhari.."..he
said with tears..she didn't looked back ..she
angry..hurt..she was weeping badly...he placed his
hand on her shoulder..but she jerked it off..and moved
a few steps away from him..and he was downhearted..
Manik : "halat ne humarei beech itni dooriyan la di hai
ki..ab mai khud bhi tum tak nahi pahuch sakta.."...he
said looking at her..she turned around and said..
Nandini : "humare beech yeh jo dooriyan hai na
manik..yeh halat ki wajah se nahi..tumhari wajah se
hai..tumhari ek galti ki wajah se"..she shouted while
crying..then continued..
Nandini : "ya mai yuh kahu..meri ek bewakoofi ki wajah
se..i trusted you blindly manik..or tumne kya kia..you
proved..you proved that am blind...tumhe kya laga..i
don't feel anything..mujhe dard nahi hota ..aaj bhi aaj
bhi jab us ek raat ke baarei sochti hoon..tu man karta
hai,.i should burn myself alive..your touch on my
body..is still fresh..us waqt i thought am having my
best night..but you..you killed me..manik
malhotra...by saying you were having fun with me..." ...
she now feeling more disgust..she held him by his
collar and shouted..
Nandini : "how could you manik...how could you do that
to me...itna kese gir gaye tum ..but you know
what..this heart ..it still beats for you."...he looked at
her in surprise..
Nandini : "yes..it still beats..and i pray that it stop
beating."...she said with a sarcastic smile...and then
again her face turn pale ..tears were continuously
flowing down..
Nandini : "i left that city..mai yahan Mumbai aa
gayi..but tumse door nahi ho payi..i was totally
shattered ..then one day i fell down from stairs..and
when i reached hospital..."..she stopped and placed her
hand on her stomach ..he look at her with utmost
surprise + shock..
Nandini : "i came to know.. i was pregnant.. "...now this
comes as a biggest shock to manik..he wasn't aware of
this...she continued looking downwards..keeping her
hand on her stomach... "and i lost my baby..my baby
died in my womb..." ...she said while crying badly..he
was very numb to react ..he lost his sanity..he realized
that he had how badly ruined her...he was the soul
reason of THEIR BABY'S DEATH...
She was crying..reminiscing all that..she was totally
shattered now..she now shouted by joining her hands
in front of him..
Nandini : ".for god sake ..chale jao yahan se
manik..just go away..tumhe apni ankhon ke samne
dekhna mere liye ab mere bardash se bahar ho raha
hai..GET OUT FROM MY LIFE.."...she collapsed on the
floor..he wanted to hold her..but he just can't...he
slowly moved out from there..in daze..while she was
totally shattered..
Manik came out of room..he was totally
devastated...not in his senses..walking like a lifeless
soul..he was looking down..the every heavy steps he
take..was telling the shattering of his heart...
Cabir, Navya and Mukti looked towards him..he was
walking..Cabir wasn't able to see him like that ..so he
moved towards him..placed his hand on his
shoulder..and Manik stopped right there..but didn't
looked back..Cabir came in front of Manik..
Cabir : "kya hua andar?..'...he asked after taking a
heavy breath in..
Manik ; "I killed my baby.." ...the only thing he could
utter was this..this made cabir startled..after getting
this piece of info..he was left numb..as Cabir also not
aware from this..there was one more person who was
shocked to hell..and it was NAVYA..both Cabir and
Navya looked towards Mukti..who was scared but not
from the info..but from the upcoming events..which are
going to take place..in their ever so messy lives..
She instantly ran inside nandini's room..while cabir and
navya also followed her with heavy steps..and
manik..he was totally broken..tears were felling down
from his eyes..constantly..and he made his way out
from the house..as he know any moment he will
collapse on the floor..and will not able to grab
himself...
Mukti entered inside nandini's room..and found her in
the worst state..she was crying badly..sitting on the
floor..Mukti looked at her and she was also badly in
tears..
Mukti took some heavy steps to approach her..she sat
down next to her..and placed her shivering hands on
nandini's hand..nandini instantly looked at her and
hugged her tied..she was not at all ceasing to cry..
The pain which was buried inside her heart's
coffin..today finally moved out..with such
intensity..that its really gonna ruin a lot..Nandini is no
linger the same nandini..she had bear a lot..first she
got to know about manik's cheat..then she came to
know about her miscarriage..the worst part was..she
never let any tear fell from her eyes..and when people
bury so much inside themselves..it only leads to
destruction..the death of soul..the death of heart...and
nandini ..she not lost not her baby..but she lost herself
too..
Nandini : "my baby mukti.."...she cried bitterly...while
mukti knows she won't stop her weep..as the day she
came to know about her miscarriage..she didn't cried a
bit..she actually died with her baby..Mukti hugged her
more tightly and let her cry,..Cabir and Navya was not
able to do anything for her..instead of standing
helplessly...both hugged each other..to gave strength
to one another..
Nandini : "kyu kiya usne aesa mukti..kyu?..kis baat ki
saza di usne mujhe?..kitna pyaar kiya maine use..fir
bhi..JUST FOR A BET..he ruined our
relationship..."...she said still weeping in her
arms..now mukti felt like she is so helpless ..that she
just can't help her soul sister..
Mukti can't even bear a single tear in nandini's
eyes..she can set the whole world on fire if she found
her angel crying..and today..she was crying badly in
her arms..dying in her arms..and she just can't do
anything..just nothing..
After sometime..which was like a decade to all of them
standing in nandini's room..
Trio was watching Nandini sleeping on the bed..they all
were verge on breaking..like in any moment ..they all
will burst out in crying badly..and all the three were
holding back..as they have to be strong..strong for
their nandini..their angel..yes..they have to be strong..
On The Road :
Manik was totally heart broken..he was feeling
disgusting with himself only..till now..he was thinking
that he played with nandini's heart ..but today..he
came to know..that in that stupid game..an innocent
live was scarified..a live which was not at fault..a live
which had not even seen the world...he felt like killing
himself..for ruining two beautiful souls..
Manik : "my baby..i..i killed my baby.."...he was
walking on the road..only repeating this sentence..

he reminisced what she said today.. "you betrayed me

eyes tightly ...)

(he was about to fall ..on the coal..but he found a pair
of arm..prevent him from falling down..when he raised
his head..he found HER..looking at him with a smiling
face ..she made him stand properly..she hold her
hand..and both start walking on the coal..and he was
looking at her..when she placed her head on his
shoulder..and entwined their fingers..now he was
walking on it..as if he isn't walking on the burning
coal..but on the flower bed beneath him..)

(just when he was complete his path..he realized..she
isn't there with him..he was walking all alone..and
when he took another step..he fell down right on the
ground..just her thought of being with him..made him
even cross the fire..so think..what can he achieve..if
she will be with him throughout the journey of his life..)
He fell down on the floor..his sight became blurry..and
his eyes closed remembering her smiling face..and a
name came out from his mouth like a prayer..and it
was "Nandini"...and he closed his eyes..
Nandini's Room :
She woke up with a jerk shouting HIS name
.."MANIIIKKK"..she shouted so badly..she was
sweating badly..and continuously taking his name..
Navya who was sitting beside her on the
chair..instantly sat infront of nandini on bed..and tried
to make her calm down..
Nandini : joined her hands and look upwards while
crying "aiyappa! please be with Manik..wo..wo theek
hai na..mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai.."
Navya : "nandini..kuch nahi hua hai use..woh theek
hai.."..she tried to calm her down..nandini hugged her
tightly and cried..
Nandini : "mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai navya..woh
theek hai na.."..she said while crying in her
arms..navya said yes and again made her sleep..
Navya : after nandini closed her eyes "itna dard..aur
itni fikar..toh sirf sachi mohabbat mei ho sakti
hai..."... she thought while she was also in tears...
On the Road :
Kajal was passing by the road ..she saw manik lying on
the road..and people surrounded him..she step out of
the car..and ran towards him..she instantly knelt down
beside him and tried to woke him up..she saw bruises
on his leg..
Kajal : "yeh kya kia tumne manik..this is not the
solution.."..she said helplessly..she with the help of
people..made him lay down on the back seat of
car..and asked driver to take them to hospital asap...
