Chapter - 14- (Teri galiyan)

PAST - 3 YEARS BACK :

Nandini was still in manik's arms..he was looking in her
eyes..and she was drowning in his deep ocean like
eyes...don't know what spell ..that person had in him..that
she was lost..his eyes were saying a lot..was
communicating with her...her trance broke with the sound of
clapping and hooting ...both straighten..Manik gave a
victorious smile to the crowd..rising his guitar high over his
head...
Nandini came down the stage..and he didn't even look at her
twice...
Nandini : "his eyes..something was there in them..."...she
thought looking at him..while he was smiling..and clicking
pictures...with the students...
Aaliya and Mukti came towards Nandini...
Aaliya : "nandini..you ok na.."..she asked ..on which she
nodded her head in yes..and smiled..trio walked towards the
class...
Mukti : "badha he ajeeb nahi tha yeh ladka.."...she said
..while aaliya seconded her but Nandini was lost
somewhere...
Aaliya : "tu kaha gayab hai?.."..she asked nandini finding
her all lost...
Nandini : "ummm..kahi nahi..."...she said and all walked
inside the class..
After an hour..trio came out and Nandini realized ..she
forgot her book in the class...
Nandini : "i think..i forgot my book..tum log..mai aati
hoon..."..she said and both nodded their head..
Nandini was coming to the class..she was looking in her left
side..when suddenly she collided with a person..but before
..she could fall..somebody prevent her from falling,..her
eyes were tightly shut..as in fear..when she opened her
eyes..she found herself in someone arms..
Their eyes met ..she was looking in his eyes...he was also
looking in her eyes ...he was none other THE MANIK
MALHOTRA...
Manik : "what?..pure din ..meri baahon mei rehne ka irada
hai?"..he said looking at her raising his eye brows..she
instantly broke the eye contact and he straighten each
other..she was looking here and there..while he adjusted his
guitar ...
Nandini : "wo..than..."..she was about to thank him..but he
left ..without even looking at her...
Nandini : "how rude"..she said frowning...looking in his
direction..he was walking...
A group of girls were standing ..in a side...he gave a flying
kiss to them..smirked ..while they all were gone gaga...he
left ..
Nandini : "he is a big time flirt..."..she judged him..his 1st
impression on her..was quiet bad...she entered inside the
class...and left to canteen..where mukti and aaliya were
waiting...
Present :
Nandini had a smile on her face..while recalling all those
memories..their 1st meet...but soon it faded away...
Nandini : "i wish mai tumse kabhi mili he na hoti..."..she
said looking at her diary..she opened her diary and again
start writing...
Teri yaadein aaj bhi tadpati hai,
dard hota hai utna he aaj bhi,
jab aankhon ke samne wo tasveer aati hai,
socha gale laga ke khudko,
aaj thodha chup kara loon,
magar meri aghosh mei bhi,
teri khushboon aati hai,
jo agle he pal,
aankhei meri nam kar jaati hai...
She completed and closed the diary...

Oberio Villas :

It's late in night..Manik was still awake..he was also
recalling their 1st meet..and start smiling..but soon her
voice start echoing in his ears "bahut pyaar kiya tha maine
bhi.." ..."what you did?..you killed me"..."my baby died in
my womb"..."get out from my life.."...
He closed his ears with both his hands..and shut his eyes
tightly..and then said...
Manik : "nooo..."..he shouted..and then opened his
eyes.."nahi..nandini..mai tumhe wapas laa kar
rahunga.."..he said in determination...
Manik : "mere liye nahi..tumhare liye..tum mujhe maaf
karo ..ya na karo..is baar ..mai tumhara saaya ban
jaunga...mai tumhe ..tumse milakar rahuga
nandini... WADA RAHA..."... he said with utmost
determination..he somehow manage to stood up ..and
tried to walk..but he felt immense pain in his feet..as they
are badly burned..but he paid least attention to his
wounds...and walked out...

Navniti Residence :

Nandini was lying on her bed..tossing around..sleep is no
longer in her eyes..she sat down on her bed..and just
then heard a thunderstorm...she looked in her left side
..towards the window..
Nandini : "lagta hai toofan aane wala hai.."..she said and
get off the bed..just when she was about to close the
window..she found MANIK...lying on the
bench...downwards..his eyes were closed...she was
stunned after finding him there...
Manik opened his eyes..and when he look upwards..he
found her there..standing on the window...looking at
him...he instantly sat back..but when he tried to stand..he
again fall back..due to burned feet...
Just when manik falls back..nandini instantly forwarded
her hand to hold him..but she was on the window..and he
was on the road..when he look upwards ..he found her
hand still in air..and he realized..she actually wanted to
hold him...a smile appeared on his lips...
Manik : "hope hai nandini..hope hai.." ...he thought to
himself...
He placed his hand on his heart and then gestured am
fine... she pulled back her hand ..and closed the
window..he felt dejected...the smile vanished away..but
he knows..the crime ..he committed...was bigger than a
sin...and no one can be alright overnight...so there is a
long long way to go...
Suddenly..it start raining very heavily...he start
smiling..as he knows..how much ..she used to love the
rain...he stood up with great difficulty...he was least
bothered about his pain today...as he want to bear all the
pain...that she bear all these years...
He opened both his arms...looked upwards..closed his
eyes..as if he is asking from almighty..to give as much
pain..as he can...and he will accept it...he prayed ..all the
pain she had suffered..give it to him...
Manik : "pyaar mai ..tumhara dard bhi agar mujhe
mila..toh samjhunga..tumhe paa liya... "...he said to
himself ..with closed eyes..with a smile on his face...
And he start singing...
O.. Yahin doobe din mere
Yahin hote hain savere
Yahin marna aur jeena
Yahin Mandir aur Madeena...
(he start singing..after sitting back on the bench...and
looking straight towards the window..there was a smile
on his face..today..as now..he don't want her to come
back to him..but now..he want her to come back..to
herself...)

(he sang..looking straight towards the window..she was
still standing on the window..but back facing to him..he
can't see her..as window was closed..but that doesn't
mean..he can't sense her...)

(he reminisced..how she always shed..his part of
tears..and never complained..how she protected
him...whether its about dhruv or kajal..she was always
there for him...even though..she was far away from
him..but still was always there..to shine for him..he
smiled...)

(he sensed her..still on the window..he sang
wholeheartedly..looking at the window..he sensed..a pair
of hand ..wrapping around his shoulder...taking him in a
side hug..he look in his side..and found her..totally
drenched..due to rain..but smilingly looking at him..she
took him in his arms..and he placed his face..in the crook
of his neck..and she hugged him tightly..)

Yuhin tadpaave galliyan teri galliyan..
(she start caressing his back..while he snuggled more in
her..she hold him more tightly...and caressing her
back...with one hand..and with other hand..she was
running her finger in his hairs..)
Galliyan...

Tadpaavein...
(soon he drifted into sleep..she opened her window..and
found him lying on the bench..shivering with cold..as rain
has stopped..but he was fully drenched...he was
sleeping..holding his knees..to his chest and snuggling
into himself only..)
Nandini : "mat karo yeh sab manik..mat karo..yeh sab
karke..tum mere dard ko badha rahe ho..tumhe is dard
mei..mai kal bhi nahi dekh sakti thi..aur aaj bhi nahi dekh
sakti thi..."..she said holding tears..
She walked downwards..with a blanket...she reached
towards him..and wrapped the blanket around him...and
made a sad face..looking at his pale face..she
observed..his feet is badly burned...tears start brimming
down her eyes..she knew..he did it..he hurt himself..
She made a call to dhruv..and asked him to take back
manik home...
She gave a last glance to manik and walked away...he
opened his eyes..as soon as she left..he found a blanket
around him..he smiled..touching the blanket...he inhale
the scent of her..in the blanket..
Manik : "pyaar toh bepannah hai..agar nahi hota..to mere
dard se tumhe dard nahi hota... par ab mai tumhe
tumhare dard se azaad karke raunga..." ...he thought to
himself...
Dhruv came there..and found manik..lying on the
bench..manik was adamant to not leave from there..but
when dhruv told him that nandini had called him..to take
him with him..so manik agreed...and left from there..he
was walking with great difficulty..but didn't took dhruv's
help..as he wanted to bear the pain..
Manik : "main jaa raha hoon..par wapas aane ke
liye.."... he thought ..when dhruv took a U turn...
Nandini was looking all this from the window..she said..
Nandini : "main janti hoon..tum wapas aaoge
manik.. "...she said ..as she knew him ..better than him...
Screen freezes on their faces...nandini with teary
eyes..manik with determined look...
