the world against us

you werent in the mood to talk to anyone. shawn was on tour and you had no one else to talk to. you were alone in your room playing around with your phone until you heard a knock on the door.

"go away. i wanna be alone." you shouted. you knew it was your mom so you didnt bother. the footsteps faded and you relaxed after tensing up a bit.

you turned your tv on and watched a marathon of melissa&joey. it was your ultimate favourite show because nick robinson was in it😏.

a knock was on the door again which startled you. you kicked your feet up and made your way to the door. you opened it and said, "didnt i tell you to leave me-shawn?" your eyes go wide. "what are you doing here?"

"i begged andrew and geoff for a break from the tour so i can see you. they finally gave in and got me plane tickets..." he managed to spit out.

you were in tears. this boy does crazy things just so he can be with you. its insane but it shows how much he loves you even when youre miles apart from each other.

you hug him tight and start crying into his chest. "i missed you. i honestly dont know what i would do without you by my side all the time." you said in between sobs.

he rubs your back and slowly pulls away putting a strand of your hair behind your ear. "shh, baby. im here now. dont worry. im here." he spoke as his chin was resting on the top of your head.

you were soon calm and steady and went to your backyard where you had a hammock and christmas lights hung up on your trees. you both got in the hammock and laid down beside each other. there was silence. but comfortable silence

the silence was broken by shawn whispering in your ear. "dont you just want to escape from all the problems you had in life and be happy? with the person you care about the most?"

"yeah, but i really hope the person i spend my life with... is you" you mumbled so he wouldnt hear you. but obviously, he did.

"same here, y/n. i just wish everything can pass by us real quick so we can grow old together." he chuckled.

"lets make the most of it and see what god has planned for us. okay?" you said.

"okay. im really glad im here with you, y/n." shawn whispered.

"same here, shawn." you smiled and kissed his pink plump lips.
