SURPRISE!

shawn was performing in madrid. you didnt wanna go with him because school just started. but you convinced your mom to go so you can surprise him. you took a plane and checked in at a hotel near the stadium he'll be singing at and just cross the street to get there (a/n i honestly dont know what spain looks like so please do not judge me).

you were by the side entrance of the stadium when two body guards stepped in your way. "uhm, im his girlfriend and im suppose to surprise him on stage tonight." you said. they nodded their heads looking convinced and let you in.

you told shawns manager, andrew, that youll be surprising him on stage and sing along once he starts "air" as one of his second last songs. but he wont know. all he knows is that astrid couldnt make it because she was super busy. so he calls down the technician to get you mic. he hands you a microphone and gave you a thumbs up.

you were on the side of the stage to listen to your que. "the next song is called air. the person i was suppose to do the duet with is not here but ill be singing it on my own tonight. hope you like this one." he spoke and you can see him smile to the crowd.

the song started and he sang:

never thought that we would end up here

shouldve known it from the start

but we're trying way too hard

he does a quick guitar strum and that was your signal to step on stage and start walking to him from behind while you sing next. the crowd starts to scream and shawn looks at them like what is happening?

used to think that we would last forever

how could i have been so wrong

never thought id be the one to say this

what if our time has come and gone

shawn turns around and looks at you in shock and mustve been wondering what you were doing here. in spain. on stage. singing with him. in front of thousands of people.

he stops strumming his guitar and runs over to you and hugs you. he picks you up and spins you around while making you laugh.

he puts you down and looks at you with wide eyes. "y/n what are you doing here??! shouldnt you be at home? or at school? oh my god you moms gonna kill-" he starts but you cut him off saying, "calm down, shawn. my mom allowed me to come visit you because she told me that i wouldnt shut up about saying how much i miss you. so she got me plane tickets and here i am."

"im so happy that youre here with me. i miss you so much!" you guys were kissing until a fan from the side of the stage screamed, "you guys are cute but can you pleeeaase continue the concert and smooch after." whoa this girl has a strong accent.

before you left the stage, the whole crowd was cheering, "amamos a los dos!". you smiled and waved at the crowd which made them ever louder and waited shawn back stage.
