you were at work and you decided to bring shawn with you so he knows what you do every other day when hes not home. your job is to watch the cutest little human beings for a couple of hours that are from ages 4-7. there's about eight kids. small group, i know.

as you open the door, all the little kids start running up to you and tackling you with hugs while shawn stands beside you smiling still with your fingers intertwined with his.

"hi everyone! its great to see all of you again." you said happily.

a little girl named mikayla looked up at you and asked, "is this your boyfriend? can i have him? his face is pretty..." your eyes go wide at what the child just said to you but before you opened your mouth, shawn kneels down beside you so theyre both at the same eye level.

he said, "yes, im her boyfriend and sure you can have me. but only for a day, sweetie." and chuckled.

as the day went on, it was time for the kids to have a little snack. as you were preparing the food, you noticed all the kids sitting in a circle listening to shawn and playing simon says. you had a huge grin on your face thinking to yourself, "someday, shawn will be a great dad..." and was interrupted by shawn screaming, "SNACK TIME."

they all ran to the mini round table except for mikayla. she was hugging shawn and you were completely jealous at how much shawn was spending time with her. he picks her up from the ground and brings her to everyone else that was eating. he sets her down and walks toward you.

"its fun watching over these kids." said shawn. "yeah, but it gets a little crazy once in awhile and i have to call other people to help me out." you blurt out. after five minutes of silence, shawn mumbled, "i wanna have kids." his eyes went wide thinking you wouldnt hear but you did.

"what?" was all that came out of your lips. "you wanna have kids? with me?" you opened your mouth again. you were in absolute shock. you pictured shawn going out with you but not getting married and having kids. i mean sometimes it may never work.

"yeah. um i mean like i have this strong feeling that its us till the end. so why not have kids." he said, those words came flying out of shawn.

you were still flabbergasted and managed to say, "you. me. bed. at my place. eight-thirty." you were joking but obviously shawn didnt know.

he laughed and said, "sure if youre ready." he smirks and winks. "but if youre not, theres plenty of time. after all, we're together forever right?"

"together forever, shawn." you say with a slight smile.

you spent a few more hours spending time with the kids and soon it was time for the kids to get picked up by their parents and for you and shawn to head home.

you interlock your fingers with shawn as you walk towards the car. "i hope we'll still be jamming to 'show you' when we both reach 75" he said and giggled.

"duh. youre songs are too freaking amazing to retire from the radio." you stated.

on your way home, you guys were jamming out to his album while both of your hands stayed intertwined the whole time. you were glad to hear that shawn would love to start a family with you and not just some other girl.
