the way shawn looked at you. its was the look you thought hed never give you when he was lying.

"shawn..." you looked at him with hurt in your eyes.

you walked to your room and realized that he didnt follow you. he doesnt love you anymore. he treated you like a toy. and you know you dont deserve it.

you pack your bag, your vision getting blurrier from crying at the thought of shawns respond. its like every typical excuse when you cheat on someone.

you looked around the room one last time to see if you didnt forget anything and grabbed your phone that was charging at the nightstand.

you walk out the room and ran for the door when you feel a pair of arms wrap around your waist and spin you around. you are inches away from his face and you feel his breath hit against your face.

"i wasnt expecting to. until you gave me a precise reason to. now please move. i wanna leave this place. who knows? maybe youve banged a dozen girls in this apartment while i was gone."

you push him off and opened the door and left... you ran down the halls and down the stairs. you went to your car and drove to your friends house... you never saw shawn again.

he grabs your arms and twirls you around so you land on his chest.

"im here to win you back. you didnt deserve any of that. and i honestly made the biggest mistake. even getting arrested wouldnt be the biggest crime. cheating on you would. y/n, i love you so much, that it actually hurts me. take me back and i promise, i will never do anything that stupid. please, ive learned from my mistakes."

you turn around to face him. you thought for a bit... knowing shawn, you know that once he learns from his mistakes, he really wouldnt do it again.

"you better promise me because if it happens again, mendes, i swear ill be moving back to my hometown just because you broke me once-"

before you can even finish, shawn smashes his lips to yours.
