{ - Yay! An update that didn't take a million years to publish! I'm getting back into it, guys! :) - }
-=Bella=-
Soon after I texted Edward, he had replied telling me how Emmett was prancing around like he was in love ever since their date ended. He agreed we needed to get them back together, and fast.
It wouldn't just be good for them, it would be good for us, too, because we could collaborate a lot more, and that means he would get my fans and I would get his. We would both become more popular.
He told me that we were going to take them out to town to a fancy restaurant as a gift, and then ditch them there, forcing them to eat together.
I told him how genius it was, and I had forced Rosalie to the vanity she loved to torture with me to do her hair.
After I straightened her hair and gave her an uneven part, I spun her chair around to face me as I did her makeup.
She kept asking me what was going on until I shut her up by putting red lipstain on her lips.
Soon I turned her to face the mirror and her jaw dropped open.
"Whoa, Bella! I look hot!" she breathed, turning her head to and fro to look at herself from all different angles.
"You're welcome. Now come here, I already have your outfit picked out." I demanded.
"Do you want to tell me why you're going all girly on me?" Rosalie asked me as she slipped on the crimson red cocktail dress.
"We're going to a fancy restaurant to eat with the guys," I said simply, handing her black strappy heels.
"Then... why aren't you all dressed up?" she asked me. I looked down and realized I was still wearing my favorite baggy sweatpants and my brofist tee-shirt.
"Oh, yeah." I muttered. Unwillingly, I stepped in front of the vanity as Rosalie combed her fingers through my hair.
This plan better work, because I'm going to be really ticked if I got all girly for nothing.
Soon I had my hair pinned up into an elegant high ponytail, and I picked out my royal blue cocktail dress that Rosalie bought me when I went to the Grammy's last year - that I never wore. I had worn my pastel green jumper instead, and Rosalie had told me over and over that I looked ridiculous even if we were just going to the park, let alone the Grammy's. After giving her a sarcastic thanks, I had swapped clothes with her. She could pull off the jumper, and I had to admit the gold gown she had worn looked better than the jumper that night.
I remembered as I took the tags off of the dress that Edward had said his favorite color was royal blue, and I smirked secretly to myself. I wonder if he would think I was pretty...
I shook my head, dispelling those thoughts as fast as they had come as I put the dress on. I matched it with blue feather earrings and silver pumps.
"You look sexy, Bella," Rosalie told me. I snorted.
"Yeah, sure. Thanks, Rose,"
"I'm serious!"
"No, I'm Sirius!"
"What?"
"Nothing." I rolled my eyes and grabbed my car-keys before remembering Edward had said he would pick us up.
I hesitantly placed my keys back on their hook and grabbed my abandoned satchel I never used and swapped my wallet from my jacket pocket to the purse, followed with my script - Edward had said we could go back to his house after we ditched them and rehearse for Saturday.
Saturday.
Four days away. Was I ready?
Probably not yet, but I still have four days to prepare, and Edward would help me... Right?
I sighed and sat down on the couch, and Rosalie followed to suite.
"So, they're picking us up?" she asked me. I just nodded, and placed the black leather satchel on the black throw pillow beside me.
Rosalie sighed and slumped her head onto her palm.
Soon enough, the doorbell rang. I stood up before Rose copied me and I walked to the door and pulled it open.
Edward stood there with a wide grin that seemed to grow bigger when I saw me, and turned into a complete smile when he saw what I was waiting. Trying to hide my blush, I saw the man who must be Emmett looking tired and violated. The huge, burly man had the face of a child and he was constantly tugging at his far-too-tight tie that was connected to his black tuxedo.
I looked back to Edward who was also tugging at his tie, but in a more formal manner. Sure, Edward. That really sells the charade.
"Hi," I said, rolling my eyes as Rosalie giggled and waved at Emmett. Emmett's grimace transformed to a grin immediately.
I made a gagging sound. "Let's go." I ushered them out of the house and listened to the clicking of our heels on the cobble drive.
When we reached the car, Edward gave me shotgun and held the door open for me, while Rose and Emmett slid into the back.
"Fair warning girls; we drive like maniacs." Emmett bellowed, making me snicker.
Please.
As Edward started the engine of the silver volvo, I got blasted in the face with freezing cold air.
"Jesus!" I screamed as I quickly shut the vent. As Emmett and Rosalie were hunched over laughing, Edward apologized while holding back laughter, turning down the AC.

Emmett was right.
It was almost like Edward knew I wasn't intimidated by his driving so he went out of his way to hit every pothole and crack in the paved road.
When we got to the restaurant, I was feeling carsick and I wouldn't have eaten even if we were staying.
Emmett and Rosalie got out of the car, and as soon as they shut the door I heard Edward lock the doors and the tires squeal as we pulled away.
"Go easy, please." I said, clamping my lips together to keep from vomiting on his clean dashboard.
"Not so brave now, are you?" he teased, but the car slowed to a steadier pace, and I noticed the car wasn't lurching as bad.
"Mmm," I muttered, worried if I opened my mouth more than words would come out.
"Sorry." he told me. His emerald eyes scorched with truth, and all I could do was nod.
We lapsed into silence then, and I had opened the window. The cold, night air had helped me immediately, and I was able to open my mouth again.
"You look beautiful," Edward said after a while. Despite the cold air, I felt the heat rush to my cheeks.
"You look handsome," I squeaked. I had intended it to sound mocking, but my voice broke, giving away my carefree façade.
"Thanks," he smiled. "We could rehearse the prom scene,"
"They added that?" I asked excitedly. It was one of my favorite parts to the whole first book.
"Of course... it was a pretty significant part of the book. Didn't you read the whole script yet? Our audition is Saturday."
"Ugh, don't remind me. No, I haven't had time... between Rosalie's 'Act Like a Girl' speeches and interviews et cetera, I've been pretty packed."
"As in... 'I was too lazy to read any of it because I just assume I know everything because of the books' right?"
I stuck my tongue out at him and he laughed as we pulled onto the freeway.
