Chapter 29

Reid's POV:

I didn't know where I was going or what I was doing but I just knew that I had to get out, I had to get out. I found that I was already in my car driving when I decided to go to Penelope's because me and her had grown close in the past two months and I felt that she was a genuine friend. I pulled up at the parking lit if her apartment building, got out my car and liked the door. I walked up the four flights of status to her door and just stood outside realising what had just happened, she's probibally gonna insist that I go make things up with JJ this was a stupid idea. I was just about to leave when im snapped from my thoughts from Garcia opening the door

"Reid?" She questioned

"Hey Garcia!" I said with a little wave

"What are you doing here at" she checked her watch "2:19am?"

"What are you doing opening your door?"

"I asked first!"

"Well, me and JJ- we broke up" I finally spit out, tears welling at my eyes

"Aehhh honeybun cone here" she said in a warming tone as she gestured for me to hug her, I did and we just stood there for a few minutes in each others arms.

"Wanna come in now sweetpea?" She asked q little hint of sadness in her normally bubbly tone

"Yeah" I said in a monotone voice. We sat on the couch and talked and talked about it all and all of my thoughts

"And she said she didn't trust me. I know what I did was wrong but I've done everything I could think if to get her to trust me and love me but she doesn't!"

"Just because she doesn't trust you, it doesn't mean she doesn't love you. She once told me, you're the reason she looks at her phone and smiles, you're the reason she gets up in the morning, you're the reason she smiles, you know how much she loves looking at the sky. But she'd miss 1 million sunsets just to look in your eyes, she loves you so much Spencer, you just can't look through the imperfections to see it."
