Evelyn's P.O.V
"Wait, what?" I shouted.
"Get out, you heard me" He raised his voice pointing at the door, ordering me out. I took the order and ran through the empty halls and out the doors.
As I ran down the street, I bumped into Calum but I didn't stop to talk even though he shouted my name. I wasn't in the mood to talk to him. What was he doing in the office? I turned back around, wanting the answer to my question.
"Evelyn, you came back." He sighed and looked like he was about to apologize so I stopped him.
"What was doing in the principles office? Right before I had been sent?" I was kinda mad at him because I feel my suspension has something to do with him."I had to see him, I was suspended too" I looked at Calum for a minute, shocked. Why was he suspended?
"Why what did you do?" I snapped as he tried using a calmer tone of voice.
"I doesn't matter what I did, all you need to know is I did it for your safety" He says not making eye contact with me and rushes of. Before I could catch up it was too late.
His lanky, long legs were no match for my shout, chubby ones. Calum had been acting strange theses couple days and it's really got to me. I don't know why.
I walked home alone. The streets were empty for once, meaning everyone was still at school. I guess Luke had stayed at school leaving me to walk alone. I don't know why Calum didn't want me to be with Luke. It's not as if we are together? Why was he so worried. He knows I like him, not Luke. Luke's being nice to me that's all. He's been my bully for ages. That doesn't mean I like him. I was debating on whether I should go to see Calum or not. I ran the rest of the way home to find Michael waiting at the doorstep. Wasn't he at school?
"What are you doing not at school?" I ask him as I close the door behind me.
"I was about to ask the same thing" he fired back.
"Well I asked you first" I rolled my neck as he rolled his eyes.
"I'm not at school because... I'm sick" He pretends to cough making in obvious he was lying.
"You lie so bad" I laugh and he just shrugs"
"Anyways why aren't you?" He crosses his arms and stares at me.
"I got... I don't feel to well" I lie.
"Liar!"
"Am not!"
"Are to!"
I run up to my room as Michael chased after me. He was so much faster than me so he obviously caught up to me. He grabbed my leg, making it hard me for to reach my room.
"Let me go!" I scream.
"Never!" He chuckles. His smile soon dropped when he realised something. Oh no.
"We need to talk Evelyn" he looked annoyed now. Why did he want to talk?
"No we don't? Why?" I ask puzzled... Oh... OH!
"You know exactly what I'm in about" he looked all serious but I put my head down. I managed to escape into my room before he could catch me again. I locked my self in the bedroom. I could feel tears fall down my face. I couldn't take it no more.
Yes, some people cut over things like this but I wasn't one for it. I would punch walls or run away. I would cry for hours until there was no more.
I could hear footsteps walk to the room but I shuffled back on my bed, with my head pressed against my knees.
"Let me in Evelyn! You should of told me before! Calum shouldn't of been the one to save you this time. Don't feel that you can't talk to me about this stuff!" He shouts but I can't reply back. I feel numb and can't feel my arms or legs. I immediately start to shake more than ever.
"Evelyn look..."
"Just go away!" I shout suddenly finding my breathe again.
"No we need to talk"
"No we don't"
"Who is the dad?" He asked and I was shocked. I didn't want to tell him because he would of killed me.
"I'm surprised Calum didn't tell you" I snapped.
"I told you I wouldn't tell him, Evelyn" I hear a familiar voice come from behind the door. This time it wasn't Michaels. It sounded like Calum's.
"Please open up" he says knocking.
"Why are you here? You didn't want to talk to me all week? Why suddenly now?" I snap at him, keeping him quiet for a minute.
"I didn't want Luke to hurt you. I thought he was going to. You wasn't listening to me." He says, trying to calm me down. It actually worked.
"But, Luke was being nice to me. Yeah he wasn't before but sometimes you have to forget those times. That's the past" I say.
"Please let me in"
I walk up to the door still shaking and let him in. I notice Michaels still there so I shut the door again.
"Come on!" Michael shouts seeming frustrated.
"No! I only want to talk to Calum"
I can hear them both whisper behind the doors.
"Evelyn it's just me now, Calum"
I open the door to find Michael had gone. For now.
"What are you doing here Calum?"
"We need to talk"
"About what? Luke?"
"No... Yes... No. Look, yes we need to talk about Luke but there's something more important" Calum said looking down towards his feet.
I sigh and let him in. He's sits next to me on the bed with his head in his hands.
"So what is it?" I say, leaning my head on his shoulder.
He stays quiet for a minute. He looks outside to the beautiful blue sky.
"Evelyn" he soon says.
"Yes Calum" I say back...
