When I looked back at Yssa, I saw her with Nathan. Their hands intertwined with each other. I never had the chance to hold her hand like that.

Distance...

We're so close but yet so far.

I closed my eyes and sighed.

"Welcome home Prince Shaun!"

I muttered my thanks to the servants.

I went straight to the throne room where my parents are enjoying their cup of tea at this very moment.

"Hello?" they didn't recognized me at first.

"Shaun!" my mother went straight to where I am and embraced me. "I missed you so much."

"Me too Mom." I said with sincerity.

"Are there any updates my son?" my father patted my head.

"No father. But I got a solution."

"What is it son?" curiosity visible in his features.

"A portrait. A portrait of the princess." I answered.

"You should go immediately."

I nodded.

After a short conversation with my parents, I went straight to the grandest palace in here. The Emerald's.

"I, Shaun, the prince of Amethyst, want to speak with the majesties." I said to their butler.

"Please follow me Prince Shaun."

I nodded and followed his footsteps until we reached the throne.

"Shaun, finally you're here. We need to hear your updates." -Queen Adrianna.

"To be honest, Your Majesty, I didn't know at first how to find her. But now, I've got a solution."

"What is it son?" the king encouraged.

"A portrait of Princess Althea" I answered nervously.

"Do you have any?" I added.

"Yes, my dear." then the queen lead me to the princess' bedroom.

"There. She's my lovely daughter." She pointed at the portrait above the purple bed.

I gasped.

Her curly blonde hair, blue eyes and that wonderful smile is very familiar.

"Y-yssa?"
