Shaun's POV

"Shaun?" her eyes widen.

"Hi Yssa!" I smiled at her.

She looks cute with that apron on. But I noticed something else.

Sadness. There's sadness in her eyes.

I mentally shook my head, I'm just being paranoid.

"What are you doing here?" she asked suspiciously.

I smiled. There's nothing wrong with her.

"Uhmm, I just want to know if you're doing something tonight."

"Nothing much. Why?"

"Tonight's our first gig at Club Zero, can you come?"

She smiled and I melted inside.

"Sure." she said.

Yes! I just want to throw my fist in the air but that would look weird.

"Thank you." I said before I quickly kissed her in the cheek.

"H-hey!" she stammer.

"Aww, what a cute couple." a customer from one of the tables said.

Realization struck me, I just kissed her. And when I looked at her, she's flushed red.

I smiled.

"Bye Yssa!" I said quickly and went out grinning like an idiot.

Yssa's POV

Why?

Why is my heart racing?

Why is he annoyingly cute when he smiles?

Why did he kissed me?

Why am I feeling that there are butterflies fluttering in my stomach?

Why am I asking myself these silly questions?

I just wanna pull my hair and roll on the floor.

That's the effect of Shaun's unexpected kiss. Waah!

"Yssa! Table 6." John, my co-worker said.

"Okay!" I nodded then proceed to take orders.

When I passed John the order slip, I saw him grinning like a Cheshire cat.

I giggled.

"Hey Johnny! What's with the face?"

He chuckled.

"Is that your boyfriend?" he asked.

"What? Who?"

"The guy who just left." he said that while rolling his eyes.

"No, he's just a friend." I answered.

"Disappointed?" he raised his eyebrows.

"What? No!" I said defensively.

"You like him, right?"

"Is it really that obvious?" I asked shyly.

He chuckled.

"I think he likes you too." he said.

"The way you look at each other tells it all."

"You're both idiots." he added.

"Hey!" I slapped him in the shoulder.

"Just confessyour true feelings." he smiled at me.

"Easier said than done." I said.

"Teenagers today, why do you kids love to make simple things complicated?" he said that loud enough for me to hear as he headed to the kitchen.

I ignored his last comment and take in what he said earlier.

Does Shaun really like me too?
