Ch 25- Everywhere

Shaun's POV

"So Yssa, are you already my girlfriend?" I teased.

She raised an eyebrow before answering. "No."

"What?" I mocked a hurt look.

"I'm not an easy girl Shaun." she winked at me.

"So, you'll be giving me a hard time huh?"

"Yep." she said while smiling evilly at me.

"Oh really, I know that you're the one who'll beg for me to be your boyfriend."

"You wish!"

"Yssa, babe... I know I'm irresistible." I winked at her.

"You're so modest Shaun, really." sarcasm lacing her voice.

We're currently on the bus going to an orphanage for Yssa's monthly visit to the kids.

Everything seems normal between us, no awkward feeling and I'm really happy about it.

Even though we have feelings for each other,

friendship is always there,

and I'm willing to wait for her.

"We're here!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"I know Yssa, I'm not blind."

She just rolled her eyes at me then stepped out of the bus, I followed suit.

I held her hand as we entered the gate of the orphanage.

Yssa's POV

Shaun entwined our fingers together, making my heart race.

I can't stop the smile forming in my lips, this feels nice.

"Oh my Gosh! Ms. Pretty is here. Guys, pretty Yssa is here!" a cute little girl with blonde hair embraced one of my legs.

"Aww, Maddy I miss you." I cooed while kneeling to level with her height.

"Me too, pretty Yssa!" she smiled at me.

I heard Shaun clearing his throat, waiting for introduction.

"Maddy, this is Shaun, Shaun, this is Maddy." I said.

Maddy looked up and smiled.

"Hi!" she waved her little hand at Shaun.

"Hello Maddy!" Shaun greeted back.

Maddy turned to me and whispered in my ear.

"Is he your boyfriend, pretty Yssa? He's very cute." she said.

I looked up at Shaun to see his reaction because I know he heard all of it.

I saw him grinning at me. Conceited monkey.

"Yes, I am her boyfriend." I watched as he also knelt down while smiling at the kid.

"So cute!"

Wait, I didn't say it out loud, right?

"I know Yssa, you don't have to state the obvious." he chuckled.

I totally hate myself.

"No, I can't sing!" I shook my head furiously.

"Please?" Shaun pleaded with puppy dog eyes.

Ha! Even though he looks cute, I won't give in to his crazy idea.

"No." I said firmly.

He sighed and turned to the kids who were sitting at the activity area.

Kids, do you want to hear pretty Yssa sing?" he blurted in the microphone.

"Shaun!" he looked at me with a smirk on his lips.

"Yes!" the children said in unison.

"So, I guess, you'll be singing now?"

Using the kids for his entertainment. Very wise and annoying. He knows that I can't say no to these beautiful children.

"Okay, you win."

I slapped him in the shoulder before grabbing his guitar.

"Yey, pretty Yssa will sing for us!" Maddy squealed and then all of them clapped their hands.

I smiled, how can I resist them?

I noticed that there were so many people watching aside from the kids. I gulped.

I guess it's time to face my fear.

I looked at Shaun in the corner, he's smiling at me. And my heart skipped a beat.

Memories shared with him flashed in my mind as I'm singing, I smiled. I'm really crazy for him.

A sudden realization came to me.

I'm already in love with him...

I'm in love with Shaun.
