Ch 33- Strong Forces

Yssa's POV

I was awakened by the loud sound of metal colliding with each other.

And I found myself lying on a small bed next to an old woman.

"Welcome to Ruby, princess!" the king greeted with a wicked smile on his lips.

"W-why are you doing this?" I said through gritted teeth.

"To have power, with you as my bait I think your father will be willing to give me his position."

"You're impossible. You greedy monster."

"Whatever you say princess..." he grinned at me.

"Feel at home." he smirked at me before leaving the room.

"You're the princess of Emerald?" the old woman asked.

"Yes, and you're Maria right?" her eyes widen before nodding.

"How did you know about me princess?"

"Nathan told me. He's my friend. And I know he really cares for you." I answered.

"Did he..." she trailed off.

"No Maria, I was kidnapped by the king's knights."

"Oh, dear. Did they hurt you?"

"No, I'm fine." I answered.

"You need to escape princess."

"We both need to escape Maria. I won't leave you here alone. We'll find a way." I embraced her.

"Thank you princess."

Shaun's POV

"Are you ready guys?" I shouted.

"Yes we are!" they answered in unison.

We're already here at Emerald Kingdom.

The whole senior male population, Nathan, Marco and my bandmates were all armoured and all with swords in their hands.

Together with the Emerald and our Amethyst knights.

Nathan, Marco, Justine and me will be leading our schoolmates.

While King Marcus and my father will be leading the knights.

King Damon's POV

"Your highness, I'm sorry but we can't defeat the Emerald's force, we're outnumbered." one of my knights reported.

"Yes, King Damon. We'll all die if we continue this. Let's just bring the princess back." Cesar agreed.

Why can't I win against my ex-bestfriend?

Life is really unfair.

"Alright, I guess I'm not really destined to lead the whole kingdom. Unchain the princess and Maria, I now accept my defeat." I said dismissively.

"Thank you, your highness." Cesar bowed before running to the attic.

I don't want to die.

I, King Damon of Ruby admits that I'm a coward.

I only did this because I envy my ex-bestfriend, Marcus.

I wasted my time hating his guts.

And now, my son hates me. I hope it's not too late to change.

Cesar's POV

I can't take this anymore.

I want to help Yssa.

I don't know how but she somehow changed me.

And for me, she's a fragile thing that I need to protect.

There's something about her that makes people change in a good way.

I admit, I like her but not in a romantic way.

She's like a sister to me.

When I met her, I felt like I have a family when in reality I have none.

"Your highness, I'm sorry but we can't defeat the Emerald's force, we're outnumbered." Daniel reported.

I took this opportunity to save the princess.

"Yes, King Damon. We'll all die if we continue this. Let's just bring the princess back." I suggested.

It's a good thing the Emerald's is a strong force.

She's really lucky to have everything.

A family, true friends and schoolmates who were all willing to save her.

And she deserved all of it.

She's a great person.
