Chapter 23- You're going to get trapped in Walmart because you cant differ between push and pull
I was sitting on the couch with Lex, Mark, and Gwen.
It was Saturday evening; my mom was at work.
I laid with my feet on Marks lap and my head on the other side of the couch.
We were watching random TV shows.
"Where's Eli"? Gwen asked Lex.
"He had a work tonight" she said and continued to flip threw channels.
"Where's River"? Mark asked me with a smirk.
"How am I suppose to know" I shrugged.
"Because-" Gwen said in a duh tone, like I was suppose to know where he was.
I raised my eyebrow.
"O come on, you don't like River?! Not even a little?!" Lex exclaimed.
I sat up really fast and my eyes widened "Why would you think I like River"!?
Their eyes widened "Because you guys are so cute together"!
"I. AM. NOT. GOING. TO. DATE. RIVER."
They frowned Mark sighed "Good, that means I don't have to kill him".
I rolled my eyes and laid back down and propped my feet back up on Marks lap.
We were watching TV and I heard banging upstairs.
I sat up "Is that Max"? I asked.
Their eyes widened and all nodded.
I shot up then sprinting upstairs.
I ran down to his room and heard him smashing something and heard soft cries and frustrated screams.
I banged on the door "Max! Max! Max let me in!" I yelled.
"Go away Tatum" he yelled.
Mark said "I'm calling mom".
I ran downstairs and opened the kitchen drawers.
I searched for the key.
I found it and ran upstairs and pushed Gwen and Lex out of the way and unlocked door.
I ran in and saw Max with tears running down his face and a few things that were shattered.
I ran over to him and grabbed his wrist "Max! Max! Max, look at me"! I pleaded.
He looked up at me with his teary blue eyes.
I pulled him into a hug.
He cried into my shirt.
"Shhhh, calm down" I said calmly.
"Tatum....i-it-." He just cried.
I hugged him and Lex took him from me.
I walked down into the kitchen and Max was sitting at the kitchen table.
I sighed and walked over to him and took a seat next to him.
"Hey Bud" I forced a smile.
He kept his eyes down.
"Max I know the feeling. I went threw it" I said honestly.
"The kids made fun of me" he gulped.
I rubbed circles on his back and he rested his head on my shoulder "I know Max, I know".
