Damn it, Tatum! Where are you?!
I slammed on the bars of the cell.
I have been beaten up so much today I'm surprised I'm alive.
A cop came up to me and said "Someone has bailed you out".
Thank God!
He unlocked it and I walked out and they gave my clothes back
I quickly got changed and saw my mom.
I froze.
Are you f*cking serious Tatum?!?!
"River" She ran up and hugged me.
I hugged her "Hey mom".
She pulled away and sniffled as tears pricked her eyes "You're grounded for months when you get home"!
I groaned "Jail was punishment enough".
"River" She warned.
"Okay, but did Tatum tell you"? I asked.
She frowned "River......Tatum is in the hospital".
"What?!? Why?!?" I asked worried.
"She was hit by a drunk driver on her way here" My mom said tears pricking her eyes.
"We have to get to the hospital! Now"! I exclaimed.
She nodded "Alright".

I ran inside the hospital frantic.
Everyone's head shot up to me.
Their eyes widened.
"O my God"! Beth said and Luke, her , and Jake all hugged me.
"Where's Tatum"?! I asked.
Mrs. Crawford came over to me "In surgery, she was hit hard".
My heart broke at the sound of that.
She got hurt again, BECAUSE OF ME!!
If I didn't ask her to come she wouldn't of gotten hit!
I rubbed my face "Is she okay"?
Mark said "Were not sure yet".
"She'll stay strong, we know she will" Gwen said.
I nodded and slumped down in a seat.
"Want to tell us why you went to jail"? Jake asked.
"I was drunk and robbed a store" I said "And had a gun out".
"Stop getting drunk" James said.
"I will once Tatum, stops getting mad at me" I muttered.
"Hey! You're the one that flipped out on her!" Holly said.
"Yeah I know" I said.

I rubbed my face and shook my leg up and down as I waited for something on Tatum.
"River, hun maybe you should go home and sleep. Its 1 am and shes still in surgery" Mrs. Crawford said.
I shook my head "No, I can't leave".
She sighed and sat down in the chair next mine "River I know you love her, but she's going to need time to adjust after all of this".
I raised an eyebrow.
