Chapter 36-Butterflies were in my stomach, Electricity was shooting threw me, and my Heart kept flipping.
"Come on, Tatum"! Beth exclaimed.
"Beth-".
"It'll be fun" She said and throwing her hands up in the air.
"You know I don't like dances" I said and crossed my arm loosely beneath my chest.
She frowned "Come on, we haven't been to a dance in forever".
I bit my lip.
"Please, please, please" She begged getting down on her knees.
"Ok, okay, I'll go" I gave in.
She stood up and grinned "Good, I'll see you later tonight" she hugged me then kissed her fingertips and pressed them to my cheek then walking out.
Tonight there's a dance for all the high school seniors of this dioceses; which includes Chrism and Washington.
I don't like dances, I never had my friends always drag me to them.
I sighed and plopped down on my bed.

It was 6:50 and the dance started at 7.
I walked into my closet and grabbed some clothes.
I wore a gray plain shirt, black skinny jeans, pair of brown boots that went to my knee, a maroon colored infinity scarf.
I threw on a black leather jacket and ran a hand threw my hair.
I walked downstairs and said "Well I'm off".
My mom smiled "Okay, be careful".
"Slow dance with River"! Lex and Gwen said.
I rolled my eyes and walked out.
I got in my truck and walked out.
My phone rang.
I looked at it and saw it was Beth.
"Hello"? I answered.
"Where the hell are you"!? She yelled.
"I'm on my way, chill" I said.
She sighed "Alright, hurry up".
"Okay..."I said and hung up then drove off.

I walked into Washington High School and immediately heard an echo of music and people laughing and talking.
I walked into the gym and lights were flashing as music blasted and people danced.
It was packed; that was for sure.
I was attacked from behind.
"Hey"! I heard Athena say.
I smiled and turned around and hugged her "Hey".
"So how's Thanksgiving break, going for you"? She asked.
"Good" I nodded.
"Spending your time with River"? She winked and I rolled my eyes in response.
Downtown by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis played loudly as people screamed to the lyrics.
I said "I'm going to go find my everyone".
She nodded and I walked away I took my jacket it off and threw it onto a chair then searching threw the gym of people.
