I woke up that morning a bit confused, but after a weird 2.0 seconds my memory kicked in and I felt the best I ever could. My cheeks colored pink instantly at the thought of him. I turned around in my bed, expecting to see him. But he wasn't there, his place was empty. I got up and walked around my apartment 'Ezra?' I asked in the emptiness of my living room. 'EZRA!' I yelled through my apartment. At that moment the front door flew open and a laughing Ezra stood in the door way. 'Yes Princess' He joked. I picked up a pillow from my couch and threw it in his face. 'hey watch out, I got you breakfast!' he said, semi-offended. 'yeah, thanks for letting me know that on time' I mumbled sarcastically. He walked towards me and pecked a kiss on my forehead. I let myself fall down on the couch and bounce one time. 'So, what's on the menu?' I asked and looked into his eyes teasingly. Ezra cleared his throat. he got the paper brown bag and opened it. 'We have, blueberry scones, a bagel with cheese, chocolate croissants, a vanilla-chocolate muffin and strawberry macarons' He said as he conjured them out of the bag. I smiled.

 'MMM THAT SOUNDS DELICIOUS'

we heard a familiar voice and my front door opening and closing. My heart sank into my stomach, Spencer walked in with big shopping bags in her hands, they were obviously heavy. 'Are you gonna eat all that by yourselves?' she asked with a teasing grin on her face. I laughed awkwardly as I looked at Ezra, who didn't seem to mind our romantic first breakfast was harshly interrupted by one of my friends who had no clue who he was to me. I was just hoping she didn't know he was my student.. or lover. 'mm.. I don't know Ezra, are we..?' I exaggerated. Ezra smirked. 'Well.. we can always help the less fortunate of course.. if we must..' he said. I looked at Spencer. 'yeah, you're welcome to join.' I said awkwardly. She plumped her bags in the corner and planted her ass next to mine on the couch. I never felt this uncomfortable in my whole life as I sat in between the two most important people in my life having casual small-talk with each other. 'Does anybody want more coffee?' I asked after a while faking a smile as I climbed over the couch with my mug in my hands. 'Yes, always' Spencer said. I turned to my coffee machine and pushed the button as I drowned in the liquid that was flowing out of it. I was trying to find a way to escape this situation without actually leaving. And then it hit me.That was what Ezra was trying to do all the time,

he was trying to find a way to escape without actually leaving.
