Amelia's POV
Sometimes in life, you succeed. But more often than not, you fail. You try absolutely everything within your power, and beyond that. You try plan A, plan B, and sometimes you pray for a second chance. But you might still fail, and when you do, there may be a lesson, or a small portion of goodness amongst the evil. You learn, and better yourself for next time.
But this situation, this....... is nothing like that. We are going to need an act of God. We're going to need a miracle.

"But it's not fair! I'm a doctor, why can't I go in?!" I scream at a scrub nurse.
"I'm sorry Dr. Shepherd, but you are immediate family, and until he wakes up, you can't go in!"
I actually want to punch her right now. Owen has been out of surgery for 6 hours, and she still won't let me see him.
"You're a bitch!" I yell.
"Amelia!" It's Meredith.
"What? she won't let me see Owen, I'm pretty sure that gives me full rights to call her a bitch."
"Amelia. Owen's awake."
