"Good morning." King met me with some kisses but since I was ready for that I pushed him away. "Well just push me away then." I sat up in the bed. "It's not that. I don't know who you been with since you been gone and I'm not trying to catch nothing." He frowned up at me. "I'm not a dirty dick nigga, you took my virginity." I laughed. "You say that but I don't believe that. Go to the clinic or something."
"You're tripping." He got up and left the room. I can't believe he says that I'm tripping. I had a point. Since he broke off our relationship there's no telling who's he been with. Today I had to go get Mady from Danny's house. After I showered and got myself together, I headed out to the bus stop. I can't wait until my sister get me that car. I won't be catching anymore buses unless my car was having problems. King texted me asking me where I had went but I didn't respond.
"Hey Lex." King had the biggest smile on his face. It felt weird being in his house and him being a father to his daughter. He led me to where Mady was sleeping. She looked so precious. I didn't want to wake her so I sat next to Danny on the sofa. "How's everything with you and King?"
"What? Why do you ask?"
"Just wanted to know. There's word going around that y'all broke up."
"Nah we had a argument but we didn't break up."
"Well that's too bad. I thought we could've tried it again." This conversation felt weird. I can't even see myself being with Danny. I didn't care if we had a child together. I don't want to be back with him at all. "No sorry but No. We had our chance but we're over." The look on his face was ridiculous. He was staring right into my eyes. That face he gave me made me feel bad but I wasn't going to ever be with him again.
"I'm sorry that I hurt you. I love you Alexis." My eyes started to water up. Not because I missed him or felt the same way but because we had history together. It kind of made me think a lot. A lot of what ifs. What if we're still together? What if he never got with Destiny? What if I never met King or DJ? What if things turned out better for us? What if..?
"We both know we don't have a future together King---I meant Danny. Look how everything turned out. We can't force anything to happen between the both of us. It's better if we just stay friends. Parents. You know what I mean."
"You called me King. That's crazy. I can't see you two together at all if you ask Me. Come on let's make it work for Madison. She needs both of her parents."
"Well me and King are having a baby too so that doesn't mean anything. I'm also more in love with King than you. Look what you did to him Danny. You shot him. You almost killed him. I can't be with you."
"His parents dropped the charges and pulled some strings to get me out. They forgave me so why can't you?"
"They did that for Madison, not you." I explained but he still wasn't listening. "I have to go." I grabbed Mady and her things. "Well let me take you home. Can I Atleast do that?"
"Okay that's fine." I put Mady in her car seat and followed behind Danny as he took her to his car.
"I love you! I love you and my baby." Danny said as I got out the car. "Yeah, I'll see you later."
"Hey babe..are you okay?" King met me at the door with red roses. "Oh my god, what is this?" I looked around seeing candles lit, I smelt dinner cooking, the lights were dim and the whole nine. "I know we've been having problems but we have to work things out. My whole mood have changed. "Aww babe. I love you so much." I gave him a big kiss.
Mady was now woke but she wasn't crying. She seemed to be in a good mood as well. I picked her up and carried her around with me. "What are you cooking?" I tried to look through his pots but he wouldn't let me. "No ma'am. There are no sneak peeks around here. You and Mady need to go back in the living room. Go watch some lifetime or something."
"Okay but I need to make her a bottle."
"No go sit. I got it." I couldn't believe what was going on but it felt great. I don't know what's up with King either but I was loving whatever was going on. I turned on lifetime and fed Mady all at the same time. My baby was spoiled but she don't know I'm taking this bottle from her next week. She will be one next month and I want her drinking out a sippy cup and walking. I was half way asleep until King came in with some food. He cooked my favorite food shrimp spaghetti and garlic bread. I think he was trying to find a way back on my good side. If he keep it up everything might work out.
"Can I get that kiss now?" He made his way closer to me. "Nope not until you get tested. I don't know where your lips been. I'm not playing." He seem upset but he took a seat next to me anyways. Mady wasn't sleeping but I sat her in between us. Dinner was good. My phone went off and I seen that it was a message from Danny.

Do you think I can come pick you & Mady up so we can hang out??😘 -9:30pm
I read his message but I didn't respond. His emoji caught me off guard. I hope he doesn't think it's any thing there since I have been hanging with Danny a little to much.
King took our plates in the kitchen and came back trying to be all over me. "Can we talk?" King looked me dead in my eyes waiting for my response. "Danny I don't feel like talking right now I'm tired."
King got all upset.
"What is wrong with you." King hopped up from our sofa. "You just called me Danny." He yelled. "No the hell I didn't." I yelled back. "You really did. Are you still fucking him?"
I can't believe he just asked me that. I stood to my feet and slapped King across his face. "NO!!! I'm not fucking him King. You're the same one going on dates with other girls talking about you want a break from me. Why? So you can be out having and getting any girl you want?"
"I'm leaving again." He yelled making me think me and him are not meant to be together. Ever since we started having sex things have gotten crazy. "No you stay. I don't want to stay in nothing with your last name in it. We are leaving." I picked up Mady and started to pack up our things. I called up my brother, giving him the address and told him it's a code red. That's how he knew I needed him now. King came in still yelling at me. "When you have that baby, I want a DNA test." He went in the closet and started throwing all of our stuff out. "I don't want to marry you. I don't even trust you enough to marry you." He said. My baby was already in her car seat I was just waiting for my brother to come. Tears rolled down my face as I thought about what just happened. I knew this was the end. I don't want to try again. I don't even want to ever see King again. I don't care if I'm having his baby or not. I can't even see myself being happy. If it wasn't for Mady, I would really hate myself.
Chris and Megan was here helping me get my things from the condo. As we were leaving King said nothing. He just watched us take the things out. I removed the ring from my finger and dropped it on the floor. This was our final goodbye.
