"How have everything been with you? I mean you left out of nowhere. I missed you man." I hugged Chasity. "I know. I'm sorry for that. I had to go back for a while but I'm never leaving again." We took a seat in the living room. Mady was in her play pen playing with her toys so me and Chasity had a chance to talk. "I'm happy you're back. As you can see I'm pregnant. Big ass hell and ready to deliver." She laughed. "Yeah I seen your pics on Instagram. I'm happy you and King worked out."
"Me and you both. I have been through so much but he's always here supporting me. I'm in love."
"Aww, wish I can say the same but everything is good. My baby just had a birthday. I'm getting me an apartment soon but until then I'm still staying with my folks."
"Where is your baby anyway?" I asked
"He's with his daddy right now. He claim I don't let him see him enough so I let him get him for the weekend. You know how that goes." I shook my head yeah. We had more conversation and catching up on some things.
"What's up babe?" King came in all sweaty and out of breath. "So I guess you had a good game on the court."
"You know I did. I'm about to go shower I'll be back. What's up Chasity?" He said before leaving the living room. She smiled and responded to him. "Y'all are so cute. So when are your babies due?" She rubbed on my stomach.
"Girl whenever they come. I want them to come before my due date. I'm tired." I explained. "I remember those days. You will be just fine sweetie. I know you are." I sighed.
"Yeah after these babies are born."

"Aye, Lex mom just called..she want us to come over."
"You know I don't want to go anywhere. I'm tired."
"Girl come on. You better go. Have you a little fun before you become to busy with 3 kids." She was right. I needed to get out for a while since I have been home and off work for a while. "Okay you're right. Are you coming? I'm pretty sure Kelly would want to see you."
"Okay that's fine. Go get ready I'll watch Mady for you."
I went to my room to get ready.

"It's a ton of cars here." I said. "Yeah mom is having a cook out. Our family is here." He said before we got out the car. "Well I'm glad I actually put on some clothes." I said.
"SURPRISE!" Everybody popped up and surprised me. "Oh my god." I had the biggest smile on my face. They were throwing me a baby shower. I cried of happiness. "Hey boo." Megan approached me giving me a hug. My brother and some of my friends from school were here. "Hey girl." Kelly approached me holding her baby. "This was your idea wasn't it? You love surprising people." She smiled. "Yep it was me and my baby's idea. You deserve a baby shower after King told me to wasn't having one. My niece and nephew need everything. One baby go through 100 diapers a day and you have the double of that."
"Yeah..thank you anyway. I love this." Everybody approached me giving me a hug and telling me how cute Mady was. This feels like a class reunion. When I say all of my class mates and school friends were here..I'm not lying. Everyone wanted to hold my baby but I only gave her to certain people.
The baby shower is a huge success on my end. I received tons of gifts. Tons of clothes, bottles, diapers, headbands, baby booties, two car seats, a double stroller for the twins and more. I was feeling like a kid at the candy store. Lord knows I needed this stuff and he came through.
"I love you!" King said. "I love you more." I kissed him. Everyone around us clapped and said aww. It felt like we just got married. I felt like we were in our own little world. "They are so cute." I heard somebody say. "Thank you." I said kissing King again. I couldn't ask for a better man in my life.

Once we were home I was able to rest put my feet up and just enjoy this time with my daughter. "Thanks for the surprise shower." I said kissing King again. I plopped up my pillow and rest my back against it. "Anything for you. I can't until we get married. That will be one of the best days of my life." I hit the power button on our remote trying to find me something to watch.
My phone started to ring. It was Chris calling me. My brother have never called me this late. "Hello." I was nervous. I didn't know what to expect. "Hey baby..its me." I was shocked. Once I heard that I knew exactly who it was. "Mom!!!"
"Yes babe. It's me. I'm staying over at your brother's place. You think you and my grand baby can come see me tomorrow?" I really didn't know how to respond. My mom have been in and out my life for the longest. She just couldn't stay out the street. The streets were her life. She didn't really care about us. Sometimes she wouldn't even come home for two weeks..maybe three. I always loved her because she is indeed my mother. I wanted to drop tears so bad. The last time I seen or heard from my mother was around the time I had Mady. That was almost a year ago. "I'll think about it." I didn't want to go see her and just have her leave my life all over again. I wanted to make sure that she can make up the years she's been gone. "Come on Alexis..please.." I could tell from the other of the phone that she was crying. The tears that she is shedding won't make up the tears that I have cried waiting for her to come home. I cried every night almost my whole life hoping that my mom would see that her not being in my life that much hurt me. "I'll think about it. I'll call you tomorrow." I hung up the phone putting my phone back down on my night stand. "You shouldn't do your mom like that. Even after everything that has happened to you growing up, she is still your mother." King said. "You wouldn't understand." I wiped away the tears that had finally left my eyes. "You think I don't understand."
"I went 8 years without my mom when Jason sent me away. I was 10 years old hanging with the wrong crowd and he sent me to live with his brother. That nigga didn't do nothing but teach me how to sell some weed or something. He wasn't positive. He sent me to school with the drugs on me to sell. I had my first gun when I was 10. I never used it but I was taught how to shoot. Brian told me if I ever get caught don't tell them where I got my stuff from or I had to face the consequences. I was 10 I didn't know what the fuck I was doing to have to live that type of life. I never really had a social life. Then I came back to Atlanta. I started my life over. I met you..fell in love..I had to change my life around. You understand?"
"You never told me that story."
"I never told nobody. He taught me how to survive because his ass was selfish with the money. I had a lot of money coming in. Even though my family come from money, Jason side of the family is broke. I thought he married my mama just for her money but I guess I was wrong."
"Yeah maybe.."
"I had no social life growing up so that's how I never heard from my momma but I'm happy to be back."
"I'm glad you're back. I wouldn't have met you . I'm glad I did."
"Me too.."

King was sleeping with Mady on his chest and she was sleeping too. I just strolled up and down my timeline on Instagram until I got comfortable enough to go to sleep.
As I got further along these twins were taking over my body. "Please just come out. You guys are hurting mama." I said. "I can't wait to see your faces. I love you twins." I said before dozing off.
