"Wake your ass up." I heard a voice say. I jumped up and realized it was Kelly. "What the hell are you doing here?" My eyes are hurting since she opened up my blinds letting in sunlight. "We're going out. I mean your getting married tomorrow. We have to go out."
"Girl it's to early to be going out." She shook her head at me. "No baby its 3'o clock. Get your ass up lil baby." She took a seat on my bed. "Where's King?"
"He's gone. Now get up, shower and put some clothes on. We have so much shit to do today." I just went ahead and got up. She was right. I have to go out. It's close to my wedding day so I have to go out and have a good time. "My brother got you looking thick." I just had to laugh at her comment. "No darling. My kids got me thick. Kayson mad you fat." I laughed. "I'm fucking sexy bitch. Stop hating." I had left her in the bedroom and went to go get in the shower.
After my shower I wrapped my towel around my naked body and then started blow drying out my wet hair.
I got dressed by putting on my red and white Adidas shorts, with the matching shirt and white adidas. I let my hair curl up since I have a natural curl once my hair get wet. I put on some eye lashes and did my concealer. I met up with Kelly back in the bedroom. "You cute for now but tonight you have to put on something sexy. I'm not playing." I just have to say yes to her and do what she say or she'll never shut up.
"Best friend, you got a new car?" She a big kool-aid smile on her face. "Yes I'm trying to be like you and King. Y'all spoiled." My best friend have a all black Mercedes now. "No we're not." I knew she was right though. Ms. Kia have been doing everything for us. She even made King quit his job because she said he didn't need it. I can't get any work either because she won't let me. She always tell us, you don't need a job because I got you. I have never been spoiled like this but I love it. "Okay let's get the hell on but we have to make a few stops first."
Knowing her we could be stopping anywhere. She pulled up to a house. A familiar looking house. "Oh my god Kelly. Are you picking up Ivory?" I am so happy. I haven't seen her in so long. She's just been too busy working and being a mother. I text her from time to time but I miss seeing her. "Girl calm down. Yeah I'm picking up Ivory and then I have to go get Chasity." I guess she's picking up all of my friends.
When I seen come out the door I had to get out the car to give her a hug. "Oh my god. I've missed you so much." I said. I really hugged her like I haven't seen her in 10 years. "I missed you too and congrats on the wedding. I can wait to see you walk down the aisle. I know you're going to be beautiful."
"No time for the family reunion. Come on we have another person to pick up and then we have places to be." We hopped back in her car so that we could go get Chasity.
We had pulled up to Red Lobster. "First we're going to have lunch. I know it's all about Kelly today and I know she love Red Lobster so we're coming here first." When we got to our table I seen my sister big pregnant self waiting for us. She looked so pretty. "You know this is Ivory and Chasity." I had introduced them. I knew they had already met but it was once or twice.
We all sat down and talked. "I can't believe you're getting married man. That's great though. You're in love and I wish you the best of luck." Chasity said. I'm happy for myself. I have been through so much with these knuckle head boys and now I'm happy to have found the one. "I have to thank Kelly for that. She introduced us." I'm happy that she did because now I can say that I'm happy. We have 3 beautiful kids and then there's us. Our family is complete. I know King wants another boy but I'm not even ready for anymore babies. He better spend time with his nephew.
"I love these biscuits. A ate a lot of them when I was pregnant." Kelly said.
Now that we're eating it seem like everyone had got quiet. I got the Shrimp Alfredo, Meka just ate chicken strips, Kelly ate shrimp and lobster and Chasity had crab legs. I enjoyed the lunch.
"I told Lexis to change her clothes but she really don't have to. Let's just go to the hotel y'all." I knew Kelly have something up her sleeve but I just don't know what. She got us a hotel so that mean we're doing girl stuff tonight.
I called Ms. Kia to check on the kids. She told me to get off her phone and told me to go have some fun. The way she be talking to me be so rude but in a nice way if that makes sense. I took her advice because I really didn't have a choice. I'm getting married tomorrow and my honeymoon is right after so I wanted to enjoy myself with my people because once I go on the honeymoon I won't be seeing them for a while.
I ate all the seafood I could. I love seafood so much. That's why I put seafood with everything I cook.
"We're going back to the hotel."
We got back to the hotel. We all slipped into our pajamas. I had taken a nice hot shower so I'm feeling really good. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail. We all just sitting around and gossiped about everything. That's what girls do.
Somebody started knocking on the door. Kelly is our host so she got up to open the door. She invited somebody in. "What's this?" I asked. "We're getting pampered. Nails done and massages."
"Good because I need my feet massaged. They're so swollen." Meka said. I had laughed at her. I remember those days. Never again" I said.
We're now getting pampered. I'm getting a massage on my shoulders as well as getting me a mani pedi and it felt so awesome. "So are you nervous?" Chasity asked. "Yes of course." What bride isn't nervous. I love King so much so I'll do it for him, our kids as well as myself since he have my heart. "Can you see yourself backing out." Ivory had asked. "Is that a true question? No I'll never back out. I want this. I love King. I got his name tatted on me." I revealed my tattoo. "That's so sweet. Relationship goals." I laughed. "Shut up." I have to admit that I am having a good time.
"Let's order some snacks or something. Let's pump this thing up a little." Kelly is acting like she's the one getting married. She's more happier than I am.
I'm having fun just being around my girls that I never even called back to check on my kids or to call King. All I know if that he was going to a strip club. I'm not worried because I can trust him.
Somebody knocked on the door again. Kelly ran to the door to open it. She invited more people in. It is two men and then I realized what was going on. Somebody changed the music and the two men started dancing. "Where's the bride?" I heard one of them ask and everybody pointed at me. I told Kelly I didn't want any strippers. She never listen.
They both double teamed me. I was so uncomfortable but I tried to enjoy myself since Kelly worked so hard for this. I'm still ready for this to be over.
