"Babe, are you ready for this?" King asked with the biggest smile on his face. "Ready for what?"
"This.." King pulled out a box wrapped up in wrapping paper with a bow on top. "What is this?" I knew it wasn't a ring since he gave me that already. "Open it." He handed me the paper. King and all of his gifts. I took the wrapping paper off and then revealed a black box." King know I told him not to buy me anything else. I told him to buy things for the kids. I opened up the box and there I seen another ring. "KING!! Why did you buy me another ring?" It was so beautiful . It looked better than the first one he gave me. The diamond is so much bigger. "Its the ring."
"But I have a ring."
"Yeah but this is the one I wanted you to have. I like it more." I hugged him. I'm a cry baby so I cried. "When are we getting married though? Stop teasing me." He let me go. "This weekend."
"But my brother and Megan are getting married this weekend."
"We're having our wedding together. If that's Ok with you. Since your brother will be in Hawaii for 3 months, me and him decided to do our weddings together. That way he won't miss ours." I agreed that I was okay with that but that just meant I had to hurry up and buy a wedding dress and get every thing together ASAP. "My brother and Megan had been planning their wedding already. We are so behind. That mean I have to rush to get me a wedding dress. You know I hate rushing." He kissed me/ "Don't worry about that. You know my mom got you. That's why she got you an appointment with Sophia. "Who the hell is Sophia?" He laughed. "She's my mom's friend. She have her own boutique and another store. Trust me she will help you with everything you need. My mom buys stuff from her all the time. Now get ready I'm dropping you off to my mom's house.
King be doing everything without asking me first but I think its so sweet that he's been helping me with everything.
I was finally dressed. I just put on some black leggings, a black tank top and my NIKE flip flops. I pulled my hair back in a bun and met King and the kids in the living room. "You got them all ready by yourself. Aww look at you."
"Shut up. I was doing it by myself while you was crippled." He laughed at his joke. "That's not even funny. That was worst than having my kids."
"I'm sorry baby. You know I just be playing."
"Yeah..yeah. Let's go." I grabbed Kayson taking him out to King's car. King got Kai and Mady and we was out.
Kelly was outside talking to JB when we pulled up to the house. "Hey Lexis." Kelly gave me a hug. "Hey boo. I miss you and Kaleb."
"We miss you too." I had left Kelly and headed in the house. Mr.Jason was sitting down in the living room. "Hey Alexis. How are you." He sounded so fake but I just spoke back. "Kia upstairs, you can go on up." I went upstairs finding Ms. Kia in her room putting on her shoes. "Hey Ma." I said happily. "Hey baby, I haven't seen you since you were in the hospital. I'm glad you're feeling better."
"Me and you both. That was the worst time of my life. I'm glad that I can be a mother to my kids again and that King is home."
"I know baby. Where is King?"
"He was outside. I don't know if he came in or not."
"Well come on." I followed her downstairs. King was in the living room talking to Mr.Jason. Mady was running around the house and the twins were still in their car seats making noises. I still can't believe I have three kids but didn't care. I loved them all the same and I love being their mother.
"What are you going looking like that ma?' King asked. "Out with my daughter to help her find a dress for her wedding."
"Forreal, looking all thick and shit." Mr.Jason said. "Okay can we go or we'll never make it." I said. Mady ran up to me because she knew her mama was leaving. "Take her with you." King said. "Okay, I will." I picked my baby up and we was out the door. I put her in the car seat that Ms.Kia had. Kelly hoped in the car too. "I know y'all don't think y'all leaving me here."
"What about JB?"
"He's gone. He only came to get the baby and he was out."
"Oh well. I can use all the help I can get."
We arrived at Sophia's Boutique and I just can't wait until I can choose the perfect dress and get it over with. The boutique was so nice on the inside. "Takia." A woman with an accent said. "Sophie, hey" They hugged and blew air kisses at each other. It seem weird to me but whatever. "Okay so I hear you're looking for a dress. "Yes for my daughter is getting married this weekend."
"This weekend? Well I hope she find the perfect dress with short little time."
"I'm sure she can. She's so little." I looked down at my body. Little where? Those twins made me fat. I still had a little stomach, my breast are huge and my thighs are so much bigger. I can't complain because my booty have gotten bigger. I did lose weight from being in a coma and not eating that hospital food once I was better. "Yes darling, she is. I think I have the perfect dresses for her figure. Follow me." She led the way and we followed behind. She showed us different dresses that are different colors and made different ways. "What kind of dress are you looking for?"
"I don't know. I have never been wedding dress shopping before."
"Yeah, I'm sure of that. Do you want a long dress, short dress, or sleeveless or what?" I didn't like Sophia's attitude but I was trying to be nice about it since she's Ms. Kia's friend. "I don't know. Can I just try on some white dresses?"
"Why white? All bride dresses doesn't have to be white." I was really getting mad. She was right but I didn't know what other colors to choose since their wedding colors are gold, white, black and silver. I didn't know why they chose those colors but its their wedding and we are sharing it. "Because white is a simple color. "What are the colors? I have so many colors and designs for you." I wish Kelly and Ms.Kia would help me but they just stayed out front watching my baby until I made my choice.
"Gold, black, white and silver."
"Nice colors. That's different. Was that your idea?" I just shook my head yeah knowing I didn't come up with the colors. I was just ready to get it over with. She led me to more dresses.
"Can I try this one on?"
I looked at myself in the mirror. I like the way it looked on me. "This is the dress. This is the one I want."
She looked at me up and down. "Are you sure?"
"I'm positive."
"Well its final." She called Ms. Kia in to look at me. "Oh my god. You look so beautiful. I like that."
"Yes best friend. King will love that."
"I know. Now I'm waiting to get married. I'm so ready."
We had paid for my dress but we wasn't picking it up until the wedding day. Now I'm ready to get home to my kids.
