Tsukishima reached down to untie his shoelaces. It had been a long day. The school's festival was in just a couple of days and he was so busy with the play he was unwillingly in charge of. They rehearsed again and again, and Reiko was extremely persistent on being by his side, despite much of his rejection, draining his energy. He couldn't wait to just get into bed and sleep off everything.

He looked up when he heard the door open and found his older brother swinging the door open. "Tadaiima!" He announced. "Oh, Kei! What a coincidence huh?"

"Okaeri," The younger Tsukishima greeted softly.

"Well, aren't you boys just on time?" Their mother appeared by the corner. "Akiteru, how was your friend? Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he'll be fine." Akiteru informed, grunting as he took a seat next to Tsukishima. He pulled out his shoes and sighed. "He's far from dead." He laughed, recalling the silly jokes they shared in his sick bed.

"That's good to hear." She said, returning to the kitchen. "Dinner is almost ready so get yourselves cleaned up quickly."

Tsukishima got up and placed his shoes neatly by the rack. He was about to head up to his room when Akiteru stopped him. "Oh, wait! Hey Kei," The said blond turned around. "[Name]-chan doesn't have anything serious going on with her, right?"

"What do you mean?" Tsukishima enquired.

"Well," Akiteru begun, rubbing the back of his neck. "I met her in the hospital just now..."

"Thank you so much," Akiteru smiled at the nurse at the front desk. He readjusted the gift in his hand and turned to the direction where the nurse had given him. He blinked when he saw a familiar face down the hall.

A girl with [Hair Color] hair walking towards the entrance of the hospital in her school uniform that seems extremely familiar. He noticed that she had a saddened look on her face as she looked down at her feet while walking. He gasped when he finally remembered who she was, rushing up to her.

"[Name]-chan!" He exclaimed. Hearing her name, the said girl looked up immediately, surprised to see him. "What a coincidence!"

"It sure is nice to see you again, Akiteru-san." The look on her face just moments ago disappeared and was replaced by a smile. "What are you doing here?"

"I came by to visit a friend; he came down with a virus." Akiteru chuckled, lifting up the gift to show her. "What about you, [Name]-chan? Is everything alright?"

"Uh..." She was slightly taken aback by his question but quickly covered it. "I just came for my check-ups." She smiled with a small shrug.

"Ah, I see." He nodded.

"I should be on my way now; my father is waiting for me in his car just outside." She explained, readjusting the strap of her bag on her shoulder.

"Oh, sure! Give my regards to your parents."

"I will. I'm glad I got to see you again, Akiteru-san." She gave him a light nod and rushed out the entrance.

"She had this rather troubled expression so I was a little worried." Akiteru pressed a finger to his chin, thinking aloud. "I thought you would know if she was alright but I guess not huh?"

"It's nothing..." Tsukishima dismissed him, walking up the stairs. Despite what he said, he couldn't help but to let it bother him for that night.
