My leg tapped nervously on the ground, as I watched mama lay in the hospital bed still unconscious.

I was finally allowed to see her, after being stuck in the waiting room for awhile. I knew the nurses had to take care of her, and the doctor had to see her before I did, but every minute that went by without me knowing if she was okay or not, felt like hours.

I sat up straight in my seat, blinking away the tears that were starting to form in my eyes, when I heard the door open.

I immediately popped up from my seat once I seen a lady in a white lab coat, stepping into the room.

My heart started beating, sinced I knew this was the moment of truth. I had a feeling whatever she was about to tell me wasn't good, since mama didn't look good when she got here.

After I called 911, I was still trying to get her to respond, but nothing was working. I had rolled her over, trying to sit her up, but I froze in shock once I seen the huge puddle of blood that was under her.

And even after the ambulence came and I thought things were getting better, she was still bleeding like crazy, but they got her hooked up to and IV as fast as they could and got her over here.

"Hello, Im Dr.Wells, nice to meet you." She walked over to me, shaking my hand.

"This is your mother, correct?" She asked, walking over to mama's beside.

"Yes.....is she alright? What happened to her? Why did she pass out like that?? And why was she bleeding?"

She nodded, motioning for me to slow down. "I know this probably was really scary for you, since I heard you were the one to bring her in, but I can assure you that your mother will be fine."

I took a slight sigh of relief once I heard her say these words. "Are you the only family present?"

I nodded. "Uh, right now, yeah....my brother and my dad will be here any minute." She nodded.

"Okay, just have a seat, and I'll be back to discuss the details once your father and brother get here."

I sighed, slowly sitting back down in my seat. I couldn't relax until I understood what had happened to mama, and having to wait for the doctor to tell me was killing me.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down. All I kept seeing in my mind was her passed out on the ground, bleeding, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't erase the image out of my mind.

I leaned all the way back in my chair, hoping daddy and AJ would get here soon.

Marcus P.O.V.

"How was school today lil monster?" I took Bria's bag off her back, and helped her into my truck.

"Good, we watched a video about fire safety." I chuckled, nodding my head.

"That's wassup, was you payin attention?" She nodded her head yes, as I slid my key into the ignition, starting up the car.

"Mhmm."

"Good, buckle up."

She followed my instructions as I backed out of my parking space.

"What'd you do at school?" She asked, looking over at me.

I chuckled. "Nothin you would understand."

"Im really smart for my age." I chuckled. "I know you are, but if it's hard for me, It'll be hard for you too."
