"Stay in here until you understand that some day, Lady Elizabeth will be your queen and your behavior won't be taken so lightly then. That's the problem with you people anyways-" Jeremy mumbled and slammed the door of my bedroom shut. I sighed and plopped down on the sofa next to the window.

"Father, open the door." Justinan demanded and seconds later, the door flew open. He shut the door behind him and stood in front of me with his arms crossed. By his posture and facial expression, I knew that he was pissed. "Let me get this straight," He started off. "You tried to cut Elizabeth while she was choking?!" I shrugged and looked back out the window. If he was going to believe some stuck up, prissy, spoiled ass woman over me then so be it. "If that's what you want to believe, Justinan."

He crossed his arms over his chest. "Just because we're friends doesn't mean that you can go around trying to cut other people, Chanel. I can't get you out of things if you don't tell me the truth."

I turned to look at him. "I knew you could say my name." He smirked and held out his hand for me to take. "I just like messing with ya. I know how to pronounce the name of one of the world's top most brands. I'm not completely shut out from the rest of the world." I took his hand in mine and rose up to my feet and stood in front of him. "Now tell me the truth."

"Okay, I'll tell you the truth," I started off and took a deep breath before looking him dead in the eyes. "I definitely tried to cut Elizabeth." He grasped my hand harder in his and narrowed his eyes. Then, he started laughing uncontrollably with his eyes and nose crinkled. The same way he had laughed when he was speaking with Jason. "You're crazy!"

I took a step back from him and watched him laugh. What the hell is going on? I thought to myself and he settled down. "You probably think I'm crazy now.." I said with a frown. He smiled widely. "No, I don't think you're crazy, Sha-Nell. Where did you even get a razor from?"

I pointed to the bathroom. "I was shaving and one thing led to another. You see regular people like me don't have security guards and a team full of people to follow them everywhere to make sure that they're safe so I have to take matters into my own hands. In my defense, I wasn't going to really cut her with it but now that she said something and caused such a big scene..I just might."!

Justinan crossed his arms over his chest again and raised his eyebrow. "No you won't. You're not that type of woman." I stepped up to him again and crossed my arms over my chest to match his actions. "I think you're in denial." He chuckled. "I think you're lying."

Before I could say my comeback, the door flew open and Jason and Jaxon stood there. Jason smirked while Jaxon looked from me to Justinan with a confused face. "Well hey, family. How's it going?" Jason said and stepped in front of Justinan. He was a little too close so I started backing up slowly. Jaxon plopped down on the bed and let out a heavy sigh. "You know, us being the teenagers on the palace, I feel like we should go out and do something spontaneous. We never have fun anymore."

Justinan rolled his eyes. "No, brother. You are not going to hang out with people much older than you. Besides, you're the only teenager in the palace aside from Jazmyn." Jason laughed and pointed to Jaxon. "Maybe next year, bro." Then he turned back to face me. "So, Chanel, what's a beautiful woman like yourself doing working for my family? How come we've never met before now?"

Okay, keep your cool, Chanel. I told myself. Don't screw this up. I smiled and shrugged. "Well, my grandma has been working for Justinan since he was a child and I just started working here because we needed...well I didn't want my grandma to work too hard." Safe. Jason nodded. "Understood. Well it's really nice to meet you. Maybe we could go out sometime? I know this really nice-"

Justinan cut him off by clapping his hands together loudly. "Oh, that's great! All of us should go out sometime and have a bit of fun. Hey, we could even make this occasion a family thing where the little kids can go too." He motioned his head towards a now sleeping Jaxon on the bed. Jason's smile dropped as he glared at Justinan. Was I missing something here or..?

"Wouldn't that be fun, cousin?" Justinan said with his hands on his hips. Jason ran his hand through his hair and gritted his teeth. "Sure it would be fun, but I'm sure Chanel wants us to get to know each other a little better, you know?" Both men looked at me, waiting for me to answer. My heart started beating fast and the temperature in the room seemed to have increased. "W-well.."

Jeremy and Patricia gathered up their immediate family members and led them down the long hallway towards the family's library. They all shared small talk amongst themselves when they had arrived in there, including Jeremy and his sister.

"I just feel as if he would be happier here with you," She sighed. "He's not happy where he is now, brother. He has no friends there and no one will give him a chance to show what he's capable of. Jason isn't a bad kid."

Jeremy nodded. "I know my nephew isn't bad. He just needs a little motivation to get him up and moving. How about this, why don't you allow me and Pattie to take him in for a couple of months to see how his behavior is. If it doesn't change by then then he can return home but if so, he is allowed to stay in the palace for however long he wishes."

Julia hugged her brother tightly and wiped away tears of joy. "Oh, brother! You won't regret this! I promise you!" He just smiled and embraced her back. "I'll go deliver the news to the king."

Justinan paced back and forth in front of the door as Jason cheered with the rest of the family. "Woah! A whole six months?! I get to be royalty for six freaking months?!" Jeremy laughed and nodded. "Yes, nephew. You'll be staying here for six months because your parents feel as if it'll change you in a way so until you get your act together, you'll be here with us." Jason couldn't hide his excitement as he screamed at the top of his lungs and ran over to Justinan, nearly knocking him over in the process.

"Yeah, I heard." Justinan said and stood up straight. His mouth was in a straight line and he brushed a hand over his fairly expensive suit. "You'll be staying on the other end of the house." Everyone in the room turned to look at him slowly, including myself. My grandma shook her head and walked over to Justinan. "Now, baby boy. You don't want to be rude to your cousin, do you? You know good and well that's where all of the workers stay."

Justinan nodded. "I think I would know my own palace, Connie. Make sure Jason's things get sent to his room immediately. I don't care which one he picks, just make sure it's on the other side of the palace. As for Sha-Nell, move her stuff to the room between Jazmyn and I's. Jaxon will be fine across the hall. He's always in there anyways playing video games." Jeremy cleared his throat to say something but Justinan held his hand up. "That's final."

Jason looked down at his shoes and laughed like a psycho. "Of course he wants me on the other side of the house. He's scared of a little competition. Always have been, always will be." He nodded his head towards me. "If it were anybody else it would be fine if I stayed on this side but since it's Chanel, lord and behold the man gets some balls and-" His mother slapped him upside the head with a frown. "Watch your language."

Pattie also scolded Justinan. "Son, are you sure this is what you want to-" He cut her off. "Positive. As for you," He pointed towards Jason. "What we talk about never comes out of your mouth unless it's to me and even then you better be cautious of who's around you to hear what is being told. You don't know anything about being a royal so just do what you do best and stay out of my way. I'm saying this to you not as your cousin, but as your king." Jason smirked. "Oh? What do I best?"

--I was going to write this big ole message but I'm so done that I won't. Didn't even edit this chapter but eh. Oh well. All I'm gonna say is that I peep everything that's being said in my books and about them. Like do people read this book just to be freaking rude and mean? I'm not even going to entertain the hate. Enjoy this last chapter of 2015,
