Justinan ran his fingers through my curls and looked away from everybody else. We were still sitting in the same spot on the balcony and everyone was getting more irritated by the minute. Jason banged his head against the wooden post and cracked his knuckles. "How did we even end up in this mess!"

"Will you lower your voice?!" Justinan whisper yelled and glared at him. "I told you how we got into this mess. I got upset, okay? So I told him that his wife and I slept together. Well not really slept together....but I implied it because he called Chanel a whore and no one disrespects my woman."

Jason rolled his eyes. "So all of this is over Chanel. How romantic."

I looked down at my fingers. Was this really all my fault?

"Look on the bright side," Jaxon started off but was only interrupted by Jason. "What bright side! We wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for-" He was cut off by another bullet flying through the air and into the other glass door.

"You've got to go down there and calm him down, Justinan. It is all your fault anyways so why not?"

Justinan glared at him and stood up to his feet. "Fine. But just know, if I get killed, I'm coming back to haunt all of you aside from Chanel and Jaxon. The rest of you will have to suffer for-"

"I'm going with you." I said and stood up beside him. "If you're going to die then I may as well go with you."

He smiled and grabbed my hand in his. "Thanks, I appreciate the support and the confidence you have in me." He rolled his eyes and pulled me back inside of the palace. "I'll go and open the door. You stay in here in case something happens. That way one of us can get him instead of both of us being hurt."

"Gotcha." I said and nodded. "I'll hide behind the long curtain in the corner and wait until your call."

He kissed me softly and walked out of the room into the foyer. I ran quickly to the window and stood behind the curtain with my hands at my sides. There was talking amongst Justinan and his workers and then I heard the front door open and shut.

"Ah, King Justinan. Just the man I've been wanting to see." Hugh's voice rang through my ears. My stomach was tied in knots and it took everything in me not to go out there and stand beside Justinan.

"Inform me on why you're shooting up my palace again." Justinan's voice echoed down the hallway and into the room I was in. "Because I had to see the man who was so gracious enough to have sex with my wife and tell me about it over the phone."

"Oh, that." Justinan chuckled. I could tell he was getting amused by how angry Hugh was. "I never told you because I promised her that I would keep it a secret. She's always had a thing for kings, you know. I paid her good money to keep her mouth shut and she did. There's nothing else to the story."

"How long." Hugh asked. Justinan walked in the room where I was with Hugh right on his heels. "Drink?" He asked him and held up a bottle of Hennessy. Hugh shook his head no. "Don't beat around the bush, kid. Tell me to my face what you did to my wife."

Justinan poured himself a drink and stirred it with his finger. "I don't have to tell you anything. You're in my country, my palace, and I don't take orders from anybody."

"But," He said and took a sip. "Since you want to know so bad, I'll tell you. She came over about two and half years ago crying to my mother because she didn't know what to do anymore. She had heard that you were publicly having an affair with one of your assistants or something and there were pictures everywhere online. One particular day she came over and my mother was in the garden so I sat beside her and asked her why she was crying. She told me and I instantly felt sorry for her because she's a great woman and didn't deserve to be cheated on and lied to the way that you did. One thing led to another and I woke up with her in my bed. Are we done here?"
