<The Fray-How To Save A Life>
                                     ~J~
On my way out of the room, Jaxon snatched me by the shoulder and dragged me to the kitchen with a peculiar look spread all over his face. He sighed and leaned against one of the counters. "We need to talk about something I heard."

"And what exactly was so important that you had to basically drag me out of the room with my girlfriend?" I asked and leaned beside him on the counter. He looked away from me. "It's about Stormy-"

Before he could continue, Storm pushed open the kitchen doors and walked to me. She crossed her arms over her chest. "Is my dad broken?"

"What?" I asked and crossed my arms as well. She glared at me now. "I said," She pointed to my nose. "Is my dad broken? You punched him in the nose and he was bleeding and stuffs." She frowned then and I kneeled down to get to her level. "I know, babe. I'm sorry for punching him like that. I shouldn't have done it in front of you to make you upset like this. He's alright though, I promise. Ok? He just needs to get his nose fixed."

"Fixed? Why should it be fixed if it's not broken, Justinanan?"

Jaxon glared down at her coldly and petted her head. "Now, now, Storm. Hasn't your father ever told you not to interrupt grown ups when they're talking? Me and Justinan are having a nice conversation right now and he'll discuss your father with you later on. Alright?"

Storm pouted and nodded her little head softly. Clearly, he had hurt her feelings.

"How about this, I'll come and see you as soon as Jax and I are done here. Okay?"

She smiled a bit and nodded. "Okay. I'll be in my room." She walked out of the kitchen and Jaxon turned his attention back to me.

"Like I was saying before we were rudely interrupted, we have to talk about something that I heard."

I groaned and sat down on one of the bar stools. He sat beside me and placed his hand on my shoulder. "Is Stormy your child?"

What he said to me came as I shock and my eyes widened at the very question he had just asked me. I frowned and shook my head no. "No, what made you think that? She was born long after me and her mother broke up so how on earth could she be mine?"

"The dates add up pretty correctly. If she carried Stormy full term, which she probably did, nine months back from that is when you two had broken up for good. It actually does add up. That would explain how she looks more like you than her father."

"She acts more like Jason." I grumbled.

"Justinan, just think about it, brother. Jason likes to mess around but he isn't dumb by far. Why would he purposely have a child by her when he has to take care of her for the rest of her life? Jason is selfish. He's all about himself and himself only."

"Well, you'll never know until you actually get a test done between the two of you. It'll be better if she was yours if you asked me."

I sighed and stood up from the bar stool with my arms crossed over my chest. Jaxon stood up as well. "I'm not asking you. In fact, I'm not asking anyone. If Stormy is mine, I'd rather not know. There's too much going on in my palace to have a child come and add more to the mix. I love Stormy, I really do but I can't be a father to her or anyone else for that matter until I get myself together first. I have to work on Justinan before I can try to work on someone else."

He slightly smiled and patted my shoulder. "You're a good man, brother. If you want me to do anything for you regarding this little situation just let me know. In the meantime, I'll make sure to tell everyone that it isn't true and I'll see to it that it doesn't make it to the media outlets."

"Thank you, Jaxon. Tell the workers to prepare a big dinner for this evening, we'll be inviting a couple more guests over."

"Is there anything in particular we're going to be celebrating this evening?" He asked me before pressing the button on the wall, signaling for all the workers to report to the kitchen immediately. I nodded slightly and walked through the balcony's door. "Send Chanel in as well. I need her here with me to make some of these decisions."

"Yes, sir." Jaxon said and went off to find my Chanel.

"Girl, I don't understand how all of this wedding stuff is supposed to bring us all closer together. The more I think about it the more I get stressed the hell out." I sighed and threw yet another wedding book across the floor. "I'm exhausted and nothing is going right. It's like when Chanel says right, everyone else says left."

Gin giggled and hugged me. "Oh, cheer up, sour puss. It'll be alright. You're just being a mini bridezilla right now and I'm sure Justinan will feel the same way if you asked him. Everything will be absolutely beautiful and I know that for a fact."

"Gee thanks." I scoffed and picked up another magazine. "All this money in the world and I can't seem to find the right dress to save my life."

"You're stressing for absolutely no reason right now. He hasn't even officially asked you to be his queen yet and you're already freaking out." London said with a smirk on her face. "Had sex with the king one time and already started planning ahead, I see." She looked over my shoulder, her grin growing wider. I frowned.

"I just want to be prepared for anything, that's all."

Just as she was about to say something, I faint knock came from the door and then it opened slightly. "Permission to enter, ladies?"

"Granted." I said and Jaxon walked in the room with his hands behind his back. "Justinan has requested you in the kitchen area, Chanel."

"Ooooooh." London and Gin said simultaneously. I glared at them both and followed Jaxon out of the room.
