Justinan walked ahead of me with a huge frown on his face. "This is ridiculous, Chanel. I said any room but-" I cut him off and skipped ahead of him. "Exactly. You said any room so I chose your room, Justin. I'm sure you can find another room to sleep in. I mean, this is your palace, boo."

He mocked me. "This is your palace, boo." He rolled his eyes and took out a shiny gold key. "This is the only key there is for my room so if you lose it then that's it. You'll never be able to get into it again unless you get a really big ladder and climb up to the window." I just watched him as he stalled on opening the door. "Justin, open the door anytime before I age another year."

He groaned and unlocked the door for me. "You can change it around, I suppose. I'm keeping my clothes in the closet though so you'll have to find someplace else to keep your clothes. Or keep them in your old room." I walked ahead of him and looked around at everything. His room was on the second to highest floor of the palace and the view was simply amazing. You could see almost everything from his balcony. "You can leave now."

He placed his hands on his hips and sucked his teeth. "I'm not leaving until I feel like I want to leave." I jumped on the bed and grabbed he remote to turn on the tv. "And do you feel like you want to leave?" He tapped his chin and then shook his head. "Nope. Move over." I scooted over to the left side of the bed and he jumped in beside me. "What're we watching, boo?"

I turned my head and laughed loudly at him. "Don't call me boo. That's my name for you. Call me something else." He looked at me for a minute and shrugged. "I'll just stick to Sha-Nell. That seems to amuse you." I rolled my eyes and pushed a button that I thought would turn on the tv, but all it did was make it go back down. I frowned. "How do you work this shit?" He giggled and watched me struggle. "You pressed the button for it to go back down into the floor. You press it again to make the tv come back up. The other green button turns the tv on and everything else is pretty self-explanatory."

I did as he said and the tv came back up in front of the bed and was turned on this time. "Why is it on Alvin and the chipmunks?" I asked, clearly amused by the situation. He glared at me and snatched the remote from my hands. "I love the chipmunks, I don't care what anybody says. They're amazing." I took the remote back from him and turned the tv up a little. "Then let's watch it. I've never seen any of their movies or the show because my grandma never let us get cable. She said they had nothing but porn and cursing on it."

Justinan laughed and leaned in closer to me on one of his fluffy black pillows. "That's inaccurate. Well, not all inaccurate, but inaccurate nonetheless. I'm sure there is porn and stuff on cable tv but you have the option to choose what you want to watch here so unless you're into that sort of stuff-" I pushed him a little and we both laughed. "Shut up, I'm watching the chipmunks."

"You would've never even known about them had you not been with me so." He said but never took his eyes off the screen. I don't even think he realized what he just said so I decided to try something to mess with him. I scooted down closer to him on the bed and laid my head on the same pillow he was on. He didn't move. That's weird. I thought to myself and continued getting closer to him. He still didn't move. He was so focused on the movie that I don't even think he paid me any mind.

Finally, I got low enough to lay my head on his chest. Justinan still didn't move. "Comfortable yet?" He asked with a smirk on his face. It's about time. I refused to go any lower. "Very, thanks." I shot back and turned my head back to look at the movie.

Three chipmunks movies, a whole liter of soda, and a cabinet full of snacks later, Justinan was completely knocked out on the other side of the bed with a twizzler in his mouth. It had to have been around midnight because all of the workers had already left to go rest in their part of the palace and it was pitch black everywhere, aside from the television still playing.
