My blue eyes peered around the corner of the hallway as I searched for any sign of life besides my own. It was the middle of the night and while most people were asleep and I didn't really have many rules to fallow, I also didn't want to be seen sneaking out of the base, it would only raise questions to which I wouldn't give answers.

I sighed in defeat when I sense Poe walking up behind me, quickly turning around I receive a defeated and upset look from the pilot. I crossed my arms with a smirk on my pouty pink lips. The poor man had been attempting to scare me for quite some time now.

"You damn Jedi and your force skills." His frown quickly turns to smile as he places his hands on his hips, "But your force skills are much needed tonight, ready for a top secret mission?" His voice was laced with excitement and I couldn't help but grin.

"Where are we heading?" I asked as he started leading me to the command room. He wasn't in his typical flight uniform so that's how I knew this really was a secret mission. I was wearing a thin long sleeved tunic that stopped at the top of my thighs with black skinny jeans, black boots, and my black leather jacket. My lightsaber was tucked safely in my pocket, my thick waist length dark hair was pulled into a neat updo and my simple bracelet was on my wrist, although to this day, looking at the single dark pearl, my heart clenched. Poe was in dark jeans, black boots, a black shirt and his brown leather jacket, he was incredibly handsome and charming as hell.

"You're about to find out." He sends me a quick smile right before we enter the command room and I see General Leia Organa along with Admiral Ackbar, both had hopeful looks on their faces.

"Oh there you are Naku! We must be quick, Poe is going to Jakku to receive something that we think might lead us to Luke." My ears instantly picked up at Leia's words and heart filled with a momentary hope. "Nakari," She uses my real name, "I was hoping that you would accompany him. You are one of the last Jedi there are and this is of dire importance." Her eyes held a mixture of hope and fear, we had been searching for so long that I was afraid she coming to the end of her run with all this. After all, how much pain and ache can one woman take?

"You know I'm going General." After my answer she pulls me into a tight and quick embrace.

"You two must be off now. Hurry and Naku, may the force be with you." She gave me a nod before Poe and myself ran out of the building with BB-8 on our heels.

"It should be a quick flight and I'm hoping for a quick and painless trip." Poe says and he starts the engines once BB-8 is in his place.

"Please don't jinx us. I highly doubt that Leia would risk sending me unless she thought it was serious."

"Ok, well that's very true but still." He shrugs in the seat next to me and I can't help but smirk at my copilot. He was quite clever and humorous, it was easy for him to make anyone smile. The 2 seated Starfighter took off into the air and I watched as we rushed past the stars, shooting into light speed.  "Get ready, our exit is coming up."

We pull out of light speed and it doesn't take long for Poe to route us where we need to be and we land. He offers me a hand as we climb out of the Starfighter and I take it, eager to get back on the ground. While I didn't mind flying in the least, I enjoyed being on solid surfaces.

"This way..." I follow behind him quickly while BB-8 goes to stand watch. We make our way through the tiny village and find our way into a small hut occupied by an elder man with white hair and brown robes.

"One of the last Jedi, Nakari Kuolu." He bows his head slightly at me before shaking my hand. "It is a great honor to meet you."

"The honor is mine." I tell him humbly and take a seat next to Poe while the man sits across from us.

"I hope this helps." He says as he hands the small disk to Poe after a few minutes of quick converstion.

"The General greatly appreciates this, you have no idea."

"To me she is royalty."

"That she is." Poe says as we stand to leave but the moment we do BB-8 comes rolling in beeping something about Storm Troopers and the First Order. We run out of the hut to see for ourselves and I curse under my breath before turning to Poe.

"We have to go, now!" We start running towards the Starfighter but, of course, the moment I think we are in the clear, one of those dimwitted Storm Troopers blows up the end of the Fighter.

"Well that's not good." We both jump out of the Fighter to see that it's momentarily useless. "Take this and get as far away are you can. I'll come back for you and if I don't, make sure it gets back to General. Go on BB-8!" I watch as the orange and white droid takes off in the opposite direction as we run towards the fight.

I use my blaster at first, trying to stay out of the spot light but it doesn't last as i quickly drop it and switch to using my lightsaber. The rare white light radiates off the lightsaber as it becomes ignited and I can't help but feel much more at home with it in my hands. I don't notice the command ship landing until Poe screams my name.

"Naku! RUN!" I stop in my tracks as the ultimate dilemma sets it. I knew exactly who was on the command ship but I didn't know what they would do to me. It didn't matter. My feet start moving towards Poe as I use my Lightsaber to free him from the Storm Troopers but we didn't get very far.

"Stop!" The voice came from behind a mask but I still knew who it belonged it even if they stood behind me and he knew exactly who I was from the white glow of my lightsaber. I would have fought back but we were surrounded. Everything is silent for a moment besides the roar of the fires as he makes his way in front of us. A chill climbs down my spine as I feel him looking at me, though I can't see his eyes I knew they were still the brown eyes from my adolescent years. He kneels down in front of Poe and I wait... but I don't have to wait long.

"Who speaks first? Do you speak first or do I?" I couldn't help but smirk towards the sky at Poe's remark, so like him even in a moment of utter chaos.

"Where is the map?" The voice was low and sounded muffled, I couldn't stand it.

"What map?"

"The map to Luke Skywalker! Where is it?"

"Oh that..."

"Take them both on board."

"Oh ok..." Poe looks at me with worried eyes but I give him a comforting nod.

"It will be ok. Somehow, I'll get us out of this." Right after the words leave my mouth, my saber leaves my hands and I turn to see Kylo Ren with his gloved fingers wrapped around it. "Give that back! It doesn't belong to you!" I yell, completely losing my cool.

"Did I strike a nerve?" He asked and continued to walk past us.

"Still think you're going to get us out of here?" Poe asked quietly but I kept my glare on Kylo Ren.

"Not until I kick his ass."
