Three years later

Marissa's pov
I woke up and saw Nick in his chair by my desk
"Last night was crazy.." I mumbled
"Oh I know. You never could handle tequila" he laughed
"Uh Riss." Aby peaked in
"Hey what's up?" I smiled to her
"Can you help me with some things today?"
"Well I mean last night was Nicks 26th birthday.. I was going to h-"
"Don't worry you'll be 26 in February. You'll realize it's nothing. Go" he smirked and I raised an eyebrow
"Alright sure. Yeah let's go Aby" I hopped out of bed with sweatpants and a big sweatshirt on and ran down the hall.

Nicks pov

"Three hours. Three hours and she's your almost wife" I whispered to myself and smiled. I got dressed up nice knowing she was going to be in sweats. It didn't bother me. She was comfy and that's all I cared about.

It was time. I heard Marissa,Shannon, Aby and Tiffany walked through the door. Demi squeezed my arm before walking towards them
"Demi!? What are you doing here !!?" Marissa laughed and I calmed down. Her laugh was the most calming thing I've ever heard.
"Oh.. Nothing. Nick said I could use the kitchen to cook a nice dinner for Wilmer." Demi lied. She was going with our plan
"Awe nice!! What are you making him?"
"Chicken parm !"
"My favorite !!" Marissa giggled and I peaked my head around
"Hey Nick" Tiffany smiled
"Yeah ?"
"It's almost your cue"
"I know. I can't wait to be part of your family" I hugged her and watched her sneak into her position with Aby and Shannon.
"Ou! Actually can you help me? I wanna make sure I sound good tonight. I'm going to sing my song yes to him" Demi stated and Marissa shrugged
"Sure. Even though you're a world wide pop star" she laughed a little and Demi started singing.
"... Here's my tears when you tell me those words here my life for better or worse for better or..." Demi paused
"Why'd you p-" I cut Marissa off by tapping her shoulder. She turned around and looked to me
"The day I met you you were just a 14 year old girl, too peppy to be stuck in the hospital. Yet you were. And I was too shy to talk to you. But you weren't too shy to talk to me. You told me the hospital was practically your home.. And little did I realize it was about to be the same for me. Because everytime you ended up in the hospital. I made sure I did too so I didn't let you be there alone. With every tour. Every breakup, even the bands break up. And every time I fell for the wrong person you were there. And then.. Finally I got the woman who was there all along. And here we are." I paused and got on one knee
"Marissa Nesbitt. You are not only my girlfriend. But my best friend. Please, do me the honor of being my wife." I pulled out the diamond ring from my pocket and she smiled. No tears. Nothing. Just a huge grin
"All you have to do is finish my song for me" Demi giggled
"Yes." Marissa grabbed my face and gave me a kiss
"Yes" she smiled more and I stood up and she wrapped her arms around me hugging me tight
"finally" I whispered and backed away taking her left hand and placing the ring on it.
