Chapter 3

Marissa's pov

The nurse came by to remove my iv and my mother asked me what I wanted to do.
"I'm going to Nicks room for a little until Olivia comes... And then I'll give you a call?" I asked and she smiled before kissing my cheek
"Of course sweetie. Don't be intimidated by the model though. You're just as beautiful" she smiled and walked away, I rolled my eyes and walked towards Nick.
"So Olivia will be here in thirty minutes, don't think you're leaving that fast" he laughed as a nurse looked at him
"Jonas have you had your insulin ?" She asked and he shook his head
"I have not. But I will as soon as I walk into my room" he smiled a shy smile.

"So O-"
"Insulin" I cut him off and he nodded.
"Anyways, Olivia said she's almost here. Don't leave" he practically begged
"don't you want time with your girlfriend? It's not a big deal I promise. My mother needs me home anyway!" I laughed nervously and he took my hand
"No please Marissa. I'm begging! She's bringing press. I'd like some normality staying"
"Normal.."
"What?" He asked and I looked towards him.
"I actually should get going. I have to shower. Take care of the... Scar. The scar. Text me" I hugged him and walked out of his room, and right into Olivia.
"Excuse me" she stated with an attitude.
"Sorry.." I mumbled holding my stomach hoping my scar didn't reopen.

Nicks pov

Press asked questions, Olivia held my hand, and and kissed my cheek. Something felt completely off.
"Alright thank you for your time. Feel better Nick" he stated and walked out. A little bit longer started playing on my phone and I looked down seeing Marissa's picture
"Hello?"
"Hey when you're home give me a call. I'd like to speak to you a little privately. Actually was hoping to get your voicemail." She mumbled
"Is everything okay?"
"Just has to do with that girlfriend of yours. But just give me a call later" she hung up and Olivia smiled to me
"So when you're out we can go to dinner and I can take you back to my state. And oh I cannot wait." She laughed.
"I'm just getting out of the hospital. I won't be going out anywhere." I stated and looked to my phone.

iMessage from Marissa:
Okay so I'm suppose to be a good friend. But Olivia was spotted on a date with a 'mystery' guy. False possibly because she loves you. But it's all over twitter and E! I could be wrong though! So don't hold me to it. Text me later.

"Mystery guy?" I looked to Olivia.
"Oh you mean Jason! Hahahaha" she laughed
"Who's Jason?"
"You know. Model friend. Model companion. He's on a lot of ads" she shrugged.
"I'm gonna go stay with Joe for a couple days. He's gonna take care of me"
"Okay! Call me when you're feeling better" she kissed my cheek and ran out.

Marissa's pov

I put my headphones in and put my music on shuffle while looking through tumblr.
I hope he texts me as soon as he gets home...

Hours passed. I looked at the clock '12:45am' I locked my phone and who I am by Nick came on shuffle.

iMessage from Jonas:
New song idea. {voice memo 0001}

I opened it and it was just a short clip. No background music. Just his voice. The last words that he sang were
