Chapter 4

Nicks pov

It was 2:15am and I was still waiting for Marissa to respond. So I called her.

"Hello?" She sounded half asleep

"I'm sorry I woke you I just really want to know what you think about the song so far." I stated fast and she laughed

"I kept playing it and then I fell asleep I'm sorry" she yawned

"But I liked it. Can't wait to actually hear it" she sighed this time

"Whats wrong ?" I asked and heard a beep

"Wait. You're back?" I asked and she took a deep breath

"I went back at 1:30am.."

"I'm coming."

"No Nick I'm fine just started throwing up they want to keep me until my doctor comes back. It's okay. I need to go back to sleep" she mumbled and I nodded to myself

"I'll be there as soon as I wake up." I stated and we said our goodbyes.

Marissa's pov

I was woken up at 8 by a nurse checking my vitals

"You know you're very special" she stated and smiled

"How?" I yawned and rubbed my eyes

"Well haven't you heard?" Her smile grew as she took the blood pressure cuff off me.

"Nick Jonas is waiting outside your room. He's been here since 6:30 this morning!"

"Damnit Nick" I rolled my eyes.

"Are you a twitter person?"

"Yes I am" I laughed

"Well Olivia announced their split.. Well 'break'" she smiled.

"I'm assuming it has to do with a beautiful girl in a hospital bed" she tapped my leg

"I'll let him in" she left and Nick walked in

"I talked to your surgeon" he stated and sat down

"Okay?" I laughed and then it hit me. I was in here because my scar reopened.

"Wait wait Nick.."

"And he told me you never threw up..." He raised an eyebrow. I don't understand why he's upset he doesn't know Olivia w--

"And Olivia confessed to walking into you." Shit.

"Look it's no b--"

"So I broke up with her. You don't hurt my friend and think it's fine." He was getting mad

"Nick! I'm fine. They also found something"

"I know. A large mass on your stomach.." He mumbled.

"But it's fine! I'll be fine.."
