"Ugggghhhhh long day, long day." I sat at my desk across from Zoe. "How it's looking?" She studied some papers. "Since we've decided to let the club go after what happen last weekend, Jayson, Jas brother wants to turn it into a basketball court for games and stuff with a football and baseball field also for games." I pulled my tie loose a little. "Speaking of Jayson, everything good?"
Zoe sat her pen down. "With Jayson yes. But his wife, girlfriend, whatever she is. It's something about her, something not sitting right." I checked my voicemails. "Did Jennifer call? She suppose to be coming by. You know the 17 year old stud who parents put her out. I notice her name wasn't on the list for the LGBT shelter this week." "No I haven't talk to her or seen her."
I got home from work and sat in the car for a lil while. I took a deep breath as everything played out in my head. "God take this stress out of my body." I got out and went in greeted by a crying Dakari.
"Des you don't hear him screaming?!" I shook Des laying on the couch drunk cuddled up with a Hennessey bottle. "Get yo ass up man ! The fuck wrong with you?!" The house filthy as fuck. Clothes, blankets, and shoes everywhere. "Why you yelling J?" Her words slurred as she tried to get up. I fed Dakari, changed his diaper and put him to sleep.
I ran a hot bath for Des. "Get yo ass up man. This what you do? You get drunk and leave our son laying there screaming?! Take ya clothes off." I helped her get her clothes off. "Get ya ass in, drink this water yo."
