Jayson stood there looking at me.
"You look?"
I sighed and sat my cookies to the side before getting up.
To add dramatic effect I slowly made my way to the test on the bathroom counter.
"Oh.... My.... God..."
He threw his head in his hands.
"Chill bro. You good."
The look of relief on his face made me smile.
"Calm down, you good."
My phone rung as Jay threw himself on the couch.
Phone call: Zoe
"Hello?"
"Aye where you at Jas?"
"Jayson house. Why you calling me like this?"
"I can't take it man. Whit gone make me beat ha ass yo."
"What happen Zoe?"
Jayson took my phone and put it on speaker.
"She took my bank card while I was sleep and spent $800 on some fuckin clothes and heels brahh. Not one thing for Ursa. I got text alerts for when my card is used. Im 5 seconds from going in her shit when she get home."
"Why she know yo code anyway?"
"She must've watched me enter it before or something."
"Call the police on her ass."
"That's still Ursa mama Jas."
"And? She basically stole yo card and blew your money. Either call em or she getting her ass beat. Im on my way."
Jayson hung up the phone and threw his shoes on.
"Yo car cause ion have no gas."
Jayson rolled his eyes at me as we got in his car.
We pulled up in their yard same time Whitney did.
"Yo chill Jas."
Zoe ran to the car tryna keep me from getting out.
"Nah. You know you shouldn't have called me."
I pushed Zoe out the way with the car door.
"So bitches stealing money now?"
Whit got her bags out the car.
"Last I checked Zoe doesn't need a bodyguard."
"See this why you stupid for fuckin with this girl. Im not gone go for her. Im coming for you."
Zoe stood there scratching her head.
"You wanted this bitch and look. She stealing ya money, she won't work, she don't cook, she don't clean. But you wanted this shit. So deal with it on ya own. Im officially wiping my hands clean from you and ya bullshit."
Jayson and I got back in his car and sped off.
"Can't save a bitch that don't want to listen."
