Chapt. 42 - Jayson

I've been ducked off for awhile cause I received some disturbing news.

Jas is coming over today so we can talk and I can tell her what's going on.

I've been spending alot of time with my new boo but I haven't told him yet.

I just hope he doesn't run.

My doorbell rung.

I opened the door to a rough looking Jas.

"The hell wrong with you?"

"Don't even ask. Thought I had to work today and overslept just to go to work looking like this and be told Im off today."

I shook my head.

"It happens to the best of us. Sit down."

I felt my stomach drop and nervousness take over my body as I fixed us both some Red Kool-Aid.

"What's going on?"

Jas looked at me with seriousness in her eyes.

"I talk to Carmen."

She nodded and looked at me searching for more.

"Okay. The kids good? Something happen?"

"No, no. They're fine. They'll be home next week."

"Okay. So what's up?"

I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself.

"She retrieved HIV from the girl she cheated on me with."

Jas eyes grew as she stared at me.

"You have HIV?"

I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know. Im scared to get tested."

"Have you slept with Aaron?"

"Nope, Im new to this so he's okay with taking it slow."

Jas sat there staring at the floor.

"You need to get tested Jay."

"I know..."

"Sit here.. Ill be back."

Before I could say anything else Jas stormed out the house.

30 minutes later she came back.

"Take this."

She handed me a home HIV/AIDS test.

"Is this legit?"

She threw her hands on her hip.

"It better be, that cost me $80 dollars and a pharmacist said its legit."

I sat there for a minute before we read the instructions together.

Jas sat down as I followed instructions.

"Now we wait 30 minutes?"

She nodded her head.
