Chapter Twenty Six

Cole is gradually becoming normal again but that isn't what I'm excited about. Today is Friday! My family is coming! I get to go on the report while they're on the side oh but I just can't wait to see Ireland!

June rounds us up into a perfect line while lecturing, "Now when you see your families. Act like ladies. Do not, I repeat, do not run for them. You are the final three, one of you will be a princess. Act like it." Once she finishes up, a little boy with dazzling blonde hair runs up to Katherine. Ever the lady  she hugs him for a quick second and then fold her hands to wait for her parents. Bethany rolls her eyes when a women with jet black hair in a silver pant suit and black stilettos marches in.

"Bethany dear. How's the competition?" She says. The women's husband walks in slowly and joins Bethany and her mom. After him, a girl in her yearly teens walks up in big sunglasses, a pink dress, a fur wrap, and 6 inch heels.

I ignore the rest of their conversation when I see the beautiful copper brown hair walk in the doors. Ireland seems to have gotten a new dress. It was green and went down to her knees.

"Geo!" She screams. I try to keep my composure but meet her 3/4 of the way to me. She embraces me in a huge hug and soon Mom, Dad, and Jake join in too. Something about it felt both right and wrong. (Jake is her brother who I forgot is also Jacob. So I shortened it to his nickname Jake)

"Hi you guys! I've missed you all!" I exclaim, separating the hug.

"We've missed you too honey." My mom replies. Suddenly, they all bow and I feel an arm sneak around my waist.

"Please don't! I'm so excited to meet you all. Georgia has told me so much about you especially Ireland." He laughs. I nudge him with my elbow ever so carefully and he laughs even harder. Ireland glares at me but then returns the gorgeous smile that she first appeared with.

"So please tell me all of your names." Cole asks eagerly.

Mom pipes up, "I'm Megan Summons and this is my husband Tom Summons. This is Ireland, Georgia's twin, and Jake her brother." They each wave their hand as their name was called.

"Lovely to meet you all! After you get aquatinted with your rooms please Sir. join me with my father and the other men in the men's recreational room. Don't worry Mrs. Summons, you and your children will be meeting my mother in the women's room." Cole waves a goodbye and moves on to talk to other families.

"Polite man, I give him that. But it will take a smart, kind, man to get me to give him my daughter." Dad jokes giving me a little nudge. They follow a maid to their rooms and I rush to mine.

I swing open my doors and April quickly unzips my current outfit while Sara hands me the tea dress. It's a pastel pink with a sweet heart neckline and was strapless. Belle hands me my shoes and I run to the women's room.

"Thank goodness your here!" Eadlyn smiles while walking up to greet me. "I was starting to die over there!" She whispers in my ear. I look where she was sitting and find Bethany's mom bossing a nearby maid.

"Hello Mrs. Hammond, Bethany, and your brother." I do a quick curtsy and sit in my spot next to the queen.

My mother walks in with grace but Ireland is anything but. She wobbles in her heels and her dress is twisted. Jake strolls in with his toy in a nice suit.

"Georgia? Who is that?" Bethany asks looking back an forth between Ireland and me.

"This is my twin sister, Ireland." I say. I wave my hand to show when Katherine and her family enter. They sit down all as one and Katherine sighs in relief of not being late.

Surely instead of a nice tea conversation, it will be worse than an evil round of family feud.
