The plane left the ground. Left the country. I looked out through the window, this was the last time I would see Sweden. The last time that I would see all the red little houses with a blue and yellow flag on the flagpole. This was the first time that I realized how much I loved it here, and how much I would miss it. I really didn't want to leave.

It was now five months ago that my parents had been killed right before my eyes. Five months ago since he shot my mom and dad. All I did was to sit there and look. But what would I have done? If I had done something would I be dead now too… which wasn't so bad now that I thought about it.

All that incident had given me was a big ugly scar next to my mouth which was a daily reminder of what had happened.

My siblings and I would now live with our moms cousin Ella in America. We had never met her and all I'd heard about her was that she was a real suburban mom… she would probably hate me.

I was all about wearing black clothes and leather jackets. That had sort of left me without friends since everyone thought I was weird, based on the clothes I was wearing and the music that I listened to. But I didn't really care. I was alone with my music and got to be the one that I wanted to be. I didn't have to pretend to be anything or anyone.

Well I did have my twin sister, Emma. She was my exact opposite with blond hair, typical clothes and a bunch of friends. The differences between us didn't mean a thing though, she was my best friend. We had a little brother too, David. He was the sweetest kid you could ever imagine that always cared abut others. He had taken our parents death the hardest, or at least we thought so. He hadn't said a word after our parents death, if he wanted something he'd write a note.

The plane landed ten hours later. I couldn't wait to get off the plane! As soon as we got our bags, I went out and lit a cigarette. Another thing that didn't make me to the child that someone wanted, I smoked.

The people that walked past us gave me strange looks. It was sort of what I'd expected though. A small town in America. Cincinnati, Ohio was now the place where I would live. I'd never heard about that place before.

We waited for five minutes until Ella came. The first thing she said to me was to put out the cigarette. This would be fun…

It took about thirty minutes to go to the house from the airport. The house that we were going to live in was a really big house with eight bedrooms.

"Go and pick a room at the end of the hall", Ella said and pointed towards the stairs.

We took our bags and went upstairs. Emma and David took the two first bedrooms so I took the one in the very end of the hall. It was rather big with my own bathroom and a big closet.

I started to hang up all my clothes in the closet so that I would be able to easily pick some clothes in the morning when it was my first day of school.

"Emma! David! Elizabeth! Dinner!" Ella shouted from the first floor.

We all went downstairs and to the dining room. Ella's family, her husband Stephan and their two kids Liza and Ted, sat at the table and looked at us with big eyes.

Ted was just a year younger than Emma and I and Liza was the same age as David.

We sat down at the table without saying a word.

"David, the school want us to write down it there is anything they need to know about you. Like allergies or difficulties in a subject, is there any such things?" Ella asked after a while.

David didn't answer, he just smiled at her.

"Is it?" Stephan asked.

"He won't answer. He hasn't said a thing since…" I didn't finish the sentence.

"Well that's something they definitely should know", Stephan said.

Ella glared at Stephan. "He has to talk at some point. How will people know what he want if he doesn't speak?" she asked.

"He write notes", Emma explained.

Ella just shook her head.
