So… they locked me out of the house and I didn't have a key. I hadn't even done something wrong! Okay… maybe… I might have scared the shit out of JJ who then dropped a table made of glass on the floor and it broke. But in my defense was that table really ugly! And they didn't have to lock me out… what was I suppose to do now?
Maybe it was time to explore Hollywood a bit. See what there actually was to do here. So I walked the streets. Up and down. All over the place. It felt like I walked for hours without a destination. I did find some pretty good stores and restaurants and stuff though.
I was on my way to a restaurant I'd seen before to eat lunch when I decided to walked and text at the same time… that's never a good idea. I bumped into someone and ended up on the ground. And of course broke the glass on my phone…
"Oh I'm so sorry!" a guy said to me.
I looked up on him and liked what I saw. He was tall and thin with black hair that ended right under his shoulders and he had bright blue eyes. Guess who those eyes reminded me of.. His arms was covered with tattoos.
"No I'm sorry. I was too busy texting that I didn't see you", I said and got up from the ground.
"Well I didn't see you either… you're kinda short", he joked.
"Thanks", I chuckled.
"I'm Josh", he said.
"Liz."
"Can I buy you lunch or something? I feel kinda bad for the broken phone", he said and smiled.
"Sure why not?" I said after thinking a while.
Lunch with a complete stranger, nothing weird about that.
We went to the restaurant I'd seen earlier and got a table.
"Can I ask you something?" he said while we waited for our food.
"Okay."
"What are you doing here in the middle of Hollywood without shoes?" he asked.
I looked down on my bare feet. Ups forgot shoes. "Oh my bandmates kicked me out of the house and I guess that I forgot the shoes", I said and smiled.
"You're in a band?"
"Yep, I'm the singer", I said.
"That's probably why your face is on the cover of that Kerrang!-magazine over there?" he asked and pointed on a girl who had a Kerrang! in front of her.
It was an interview that Andy and I had done together when we were on the cover. I'd totally forgot about that one.
"Uhm yes, that's why my face is on that cover", I said.
"Wait, are you Liz White? Andy Biersack's girlfriend?" he asked.
"Ex-girlfriend but yes that's me."
Oh I'm sorry about the break-up. I've done some of Andy's tattoos and he just wouldn't shut up about you", he smiled.
"Your'e a tattoo-artist?" I asked, wanting to change the subject from Andy.
"Yeah, my shop is not far from here."
We sat and talked for hours about basically everything. I really liked him actually even though I'd just met him. I had a lot in common. Or well he liked to listen to music and I liked to make music, I liked to have tattoos and he liked to make them.
After that very long lunch followed I him back to his tattoo-shop. I'd always loved seeing people tattoo others so he said that I join him and watch while he did one. I also got a new tattoo while I was in there, just a small Mickey Mouse on my arm and I loved it! He did for free also which made me love it even more.
"We have to do this again sometime", he said when I was leaving.
"I'd love that", I smiled.
"How about tomorrow night?"
"Sure, call me tomorrow", I said and walked out of the shop.
I didn't really know where I was so I just took a cab back to the house.
The door was finally unlocked when I got to the house. "I'm home!" I shouted as I opened the door.
"Finally! Where have you been? You was just gone when we were going to let you back in", Joanna said.
"I've been around on the town for a while."
"And what more? You're smiling like a fool, something happened", she said.
"I met the most awesome guy ever! His name is Josh and he's a super hot tattoo-artist. He bought me lunch hand I got to spend the afternoon at his shop and he gave me a tattoo for free!" I said and showed her my arm.
"Wow Liz. Are you going to go out with him again soon?" she asked and smiled.
"I'm gonna meet him again tomorrow night."
I was so excited about tomorrow. Jeez it had only been two weeks since I broke up with Andy and I was already feeling this way about another guy. I did like him, a lot.
