I know some people really hate the Twilight saga, but I really like this song, and I think it's super sweet

Piper's POV
"Kai!" I breathed in relief. I heard Olivia's small yelp at my words, and turned to look at her. She had backed up against the back wall of our cell, shaking like a leaf with her head down in submission. Even the guard's eyes followed the path of a rat scurrying across the cement.
"I said GET OFF HER!" Kai yelled again, without looking at me. Holly gave a small cry. He was mad at us.
"Yes, Alpha," the guard hissed between his teeth, removing his hand from the clasp of my bra and taking a step back away from me.
"Unlock the cell!" his voice boomed again. Holly couldn't help but sigh, and I stifled a growl at her.
The guard fumbled with the keys, his fingers shaking and forehead vein throbbing. The commands of Kai and Jude both weighed on him, but Kai was stronger, and an Alpha by birth.
Finally unlocking the door, Kai shoved him roughly aside, his body smacking sickly into the silver and jerking back from the pain.
Kai wrenched open the door, the silver leaving red, angry flesh behind. He was unaffected by the pain, his eyes never leaving mine. A millisecond after he opened the cell door, I was in his arms. Kai buried his face in my hair and inhaled my scent over my mark.
"I'm not angry with you," he murmured, tightening his grip on my hips. "I'm angry at that vile pig who stupidly paid no attention to an Alpha's claim on you, and will now pay the-"
"Kai!" I hissed. "Now is not a good time to lose your head." I traced the outline of his bicep straining his shirt in an effort to calm him. His shoulders loosened and he sighed at my touch.
Kai turned to Olivia, pushing me behind him. "What's your name?" he barked.
"Kai!" I scolded. He growled at my disrespect, and I glared daggers at him. He squeezed my hand to shush me, but relaxed his angry stance.
"O-Olivia," she stammered, cowering from him. I stepped around Kai to go to her, slipping from his hold as he snarled angrily.
"Get back here, Piper!" Kai ordered in his Alpha voice.
"You know that doesn't work on me," I snapped, turning to face him. I stood defensively in front of Olivia. "You won't hurt her."
He took three steps and towered over me, inches away. "I'll do what I want!" he snarled in my face. "Now stand aside! I'll deal with your attitude later."
For the first time ever, I growled at Kai, baring my teeth at him. Holly echoed me, pissed at her mate. I knew Leo would be hurt, but neither of us gave a damn.
"Fucking LEAVE!" Kai screamed. Olivia started crying. I folded my arms over my chest, my nostrils flaring.
"Why don't you leave?!" I fired back. "I was doing just fine before you showed up!"
He laughed bitterly. "Fine, as in whoring around with another male? Damn, Piper, if you wanted another why didn't you ask? I should have never marked you." I gasped, and his jaw clenched. Holly felt Leo's rage. Kai was engaged in a silent battle against his wolf, and he was winning. Holly yelped in pain at his words. "I should just leave you here! Then we'll both be happy! You can have as many males as you want without even thinking of me. I won't even come back. I'll tell my pack you're dead, that Jude had you killed. They'll mourn you, but I won't. I'll never mourn the she-wolf who faked her love for me!"
I couldn't help it. I started to cry. "Please don't leave me, Kai," I whispered.
His face softened. "I'm sorry, love," he whispered. "You couldn't imagine what it was like for me, to see you in another male's arms. I swear I didn't mean that Piper, my love. Not a word of it."
He took me in his arms again, purring to comfort me. My sobs eventually quieted, and he pulled back to look at me, brushing my hair out of my face.
"I will spend forever showing you that it was a lie," he vowed. "Even if it kills me. Hell, leaving you here would kill me. I would do more than mourn you. I would-" Kai made a strangled sound, kneeling in front of me and wrapping his arms around my waist. He kissed my stomach, and I giggled.
"Don't say it," I told him. He smiled up at me, grasping my hip in one hand and running his fingers over my stomach with the other. I gasped. "What are you doing?"
"I can smell it," he breathed.
I stared at him quizzically, looking back to Oliva for help, but she had fainted. "Smell what, Kai? You're not making any sense."
He gave me a breathtaking smile. "Piper, love, you're pregnant. You didn't know?"
"N-no!" I gasped.
He leaned his head against my stomach. "I can even hear his heartbeat. I know werewolf pregnancies are fast and I know they hurt much worse than human ones, but I swear Piper you'll be okay. I'll make sure of it."
"I love you," I whispered, rubbing my hand over my stomach. I didn't know if I was talking to Kai or our pup. "His?"
He smiled ruefully. "I have a feeling. This is our first pup, my heir. I'll protect you both with my own life."
"Good," I said. "Then get us the hell out of here!"
He laughed, taking my hand to lead me out.
"Wait," I said. "How did you find me?"
"Beckett isn't with Jude," he told me. I sighed in relief. "He told me where Jude was keeping you."
"Will you send him down here for Olivia?" I asked. "I promised her you'd rescue both of us."
"Of course," Kai said, brushing the backs of his fingers against my cheek. "Now, let's go. I'm worried the silver hurt our pup. Or Holly."
I gulped. I had tried to ignore this, thinking I would die here. But since I would live, the reality slammed into me like a ton of bricks. I gasped for breath, clinging to Kai's arm.
"Hey, hey," he cooed. "Love, calm down. It'll be alright. Don't even worry about anything. Both of you will be just fine, I'll make sure of it. I'm here now, you don't have anything to fear." Kai wrapped his arms around me, pulling me against him and breathing in my scent.
"Except for me," Jude laughed menacingly. I jumped in fright. "If Alpha Kai is so intent on taking what is mine, then maybe I should do him the same favor."
