Selena’s POV:
Being the most popular girl isn’t what’s it all crack up to be. I have to maintain my status perfectly, which means there is a lot of pressure on me. I have to make sure I’m always dressed to impress, have to keep my grades up—cause if I don’t first I’m off the cheerleading team and second I don’t want my butt kicked by my parents. And since I’m the ‘it’ girl at West Boca Raton High, people expect me to be mean, especially to the unpopular—or ‘infested’ as the others call them. But I’m actually not and that’s what shocks people the most. My parents always told me never to take anything I have for granted, and always treat people the way I would want to be treated.
Justin’s POV:
Being the most un-popular guy at West Boca Raton High is a blessing and a curse. It’s a blessing because that means no one really talks to me; I’m socially awkward so that’s a plus. It being a curse means: I’m always picked on—especially the jocks—mainly Colton Haynes. It also means I’ve never dated a girl. Nope, never. The only time a girl would talk to me is if 1.) It was a dare. 2.) It was to do her homework or 3.) I was partnered with her and she was forced to talk to me.
That’s why I can’t wait until senior year is over just so I can get away and start over
