Selena’s POV:

It killed me. It killed me deep inside. I think I rather have Justin cheating on me, then for this to happen. After I read the letter I drove straight home and locked myself in my room. My mom, Brian, Tori and even Gracie has tried coming to talk to me. Demi, Ariana, Jas and Barbara all tried calling but I sent them straight to voice mail. I did the same to Justin.

Apparently the brunette Justin was talking to was Alicia Hoffman, Mary Hoffman’s daughter. She was sent to talk to Justin and give him the ‘inside look’ on their business program. The school wanted Justin to attend the program badly.

“Selena, please open the door. We’re worried.” Tori said knocking lightly.

I sighed realizing; none of them was going to give up. I wrapped the blanket around myself and walked to the door unlocking it, then walked back over to my bed sitting on it crossing my legs wiping away my dried tears.

Tori slowly made her way over to me—more like waddling her way—and sat down on the bed.

“What happened?” She asked.

“I—I thought Justin was cheating on me.” I sniffled.

“Well is he?” She asked raising a brow.

“Even worse—he’s going to St. Louis in a few weeks.” I said falling back on my bed.

“How is that worse?” She asked confused.

I sat up throwing the blanket off my head. “He’s going to be a million miles away from me!” I said.

“Selena, not a million miles away, maybe a few thousand, maybe even a hundred, that’s it.” She said rubbing my shoulder.

“Oh yeah, because that helps a lot!” I said rolling my eyes.

“Selena, why is he leaving for St. Louis?”

“There’s an early business program and they want Justin to attend. That means he’ll be in St. Louis from April whenever to whenever he graduates!” I said crying.

“Selena, have you actually talked to Justin?”

“No, why?” I sniffled.

“Did he say he was going?”

“No. He took me to his house, showed me the letter and I ran out and drove home.”

“How do you know he doesn’t want your opinion first?”
