Chapter 11

Chapter Eleven:

Selena’s POV:

Who’s car is in Colton’s drive way? Maybe someone from the football team came to check on him? For the sake of Colton’s life it better be someone from the football team.

I didn’t even bother knocking on his front door, because I already knew where his family hid the extra key to their house because of the many times Colton would forget his key. I reached under the mat and placed it in the key hole, but to my surprise the door was already unlocked. I quietly opened the door hearing the house was pretty quiet.

Okay I guess this is the part where something scary usually happens and I get killed.

I looked around the empty living room and then walked in the kitchen seeing it was empty also. Then I heard something. Right above where I was standing I could hear squeaking coming from upstairs.

What the hell?

I walked up the stairs hearing a little moaning coming from what seems like Colton’s room. And then I saw a hoodie placed on one of the stairs; and not just any hoodie, but the hoodie I saw that one person wearing who called Aimee “babe”.

Okay either Colton’s gay and having sex with another dude, or Colton is the mystery dude, and for my sake I actually hope Colton is secretly gay.

I continued my way up the stairs to Colton’s room seeing his door barely opened. I peaked in his room and my jaw instantly dropped. Not only way Colton having sex with one girl, but two girls. And guess who they were.

Tori and Aimee.

Tears started falling down my cheek and I tried to hold back my sobs but I wasn’t quiet enough when I heard Aimee ask “What was that noise?”

I placed my hand over my mouth and rushed out Colton’s house to my car hurrying and driving back to my house. I pulled in front of my house a few minutes later—since I was practically speeding.

I sat in my driveway for a good 5 minutes before I got out of my car. I decided I should take a walk to process what just happened.  I didn’t know where I was walking to; it would just be a spare of the moment thing.

I began walking and just thought about everything.

I can’t believe I actually believed Colton when he said that he has changed. He only stuck to one thing and that was he never hit me. Not only that, but he was the hoodie dude that talked to Aimee. He’s the reason Aimee broke up with Justin. So when they talked about a plan, I guess this was it all along. Then it did sort of make sense. Aimee goes out with Justin so Justin is off the market, and that way I can’t try nothing with him, and Colton can ‘pretend’ to change and get me back.

I felt a tear come down and wiped it, but more came down, that’s when I felt it on my head. Well I know I’m not crying out of my hair. I looked up and saw the sky had darkened and there was rain coming down.

I forgot we had a storm coming in. I heard my phone vibrate and saw I had a message from Brian.

From: Dad

Hey Sel! Me and your mom are gonna stay at a hotel tonight near our work because looks like the storm won’t be gone any time soon. Gracie is with the Nanny at her house so stay safe!

A little too late for that. Before I could even think about putting my hood up rain started poring down soaking me.

Well doesn’t this day just keep getting better?
