"I didn't wanna do it, Dare. I... I begged... Just... not to make me." I cried softly into his shoulder.

"Who?" He asked, moving my head out of his neck to look at me. I didn't want to tell him. I knew exactly how he'd react. I shook my head, but I knew with how persistent he is it wouldn't get me anywhere.

"I... I begged Carol... She told me I had to..." His jaw clenched and his eyes went a darker shade of blue, but I only hugged myself tighter to him. "Dare don't say anythi-"

"Kat? Where you at?" Maggie's voice called for me. I wiped my eyes and stood up, helping Taylor as I did. Daryl kissed my forehead before I turned to Taylor.

"You okay?" She simply nodded in response, saying she was going to find Carl as she walked away. I looked at Daryl, who still seemed beyond angry. I looked at his face and sighed. He looked like he had gotten his ass kicked twelve times over. "I love you."

"I love you too." He grumbled, kissing my head.

"Ka- oh, there you are." Maggie smiled.

"Yes Maggie?" I asked, faking a smile.

"I want you to meet some people." I rolled my eyes, but nodded a bit as I walked over with her. "This is Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, and this is Tara." I nodded a bit at all of them, but didn't like the way Abraham looked at me.

"Names Kat." I told them, not much trying to show any emotion.

"You're the one that got us out that hell hole Terminus?" Abraham asked. He looked in shock.

     "That hard to believe?"

"You just look so..." I raised my eyebrows, but Eugene finished his sentence.

       "Libidinous. You look very libidinous."

"Someone wanna tell me what that means? English?" I asked, looking at anyone.

Eugene looked a bit awkward. "Uh, it's a mannerly word used in the place of the laymen term
seductive or arousing."

I smiled a bit. "You tryna call me hot?"

"Yes ma'am, that is in fact what Abraham was trying to say."

"Abraham can keep his damn mouth shut." I heard grumbled behind me. I laughed a bit, looking at Daryl and shaking my head. He continued to glare at the red headed man who now stood a bit awkwardly, but when Abraham caught the drift it became a stare down. I gripped Daryl's hand tightly, getting him to focus his attention back onto me.

"Whatever. What's the goal for uh.. Y'all?" I asked, looking at the man who still seemed to glare at Daryl.

"Eugene is a scientist. Our mission is to get him to Washington."

    I raised my eyebrows. "Why?"

"He knows how to undo the affect of the apocalypse."

I looked at Maggie and she only smiled, nodding. I shrugged. "Kay." Did I believe it? Hell no.

As I walked into the church, I heard Rick discussing going out for supplies. "Kat? You ready to be my right hand again?" I smiled a bit at the man in front of me and nodded.

"As ready as always." I said with a slight smile.

Daryl seemed uneasy as he looked at me. "I don't feel good about you going, Kat." He said in a whispery tone, his lips hitting my ear. I glanced at him and raised my eyebrows.

"I'm gonna be okay, Dare. I'll be safe, I promise." I replied. He took a breath before I pressed my lips onto his.

"Kat? You ready?" Rick seemed to be testing his waters a bit with Daryl. Daryl glared daggers before letting go of me and walking up to him. What he said was low, obviously trying not to let it be heard, but I heard it anyways.

"You better keep her safe."
