The months were tiring. Hunger constantly absorbed me, and I think it became normal for me by now, since I gave my food mainly to Carl and Lori... Lori a bit more than Carl, but only for the fact that I knew how many nutrients a baby needed, and without it the likelihood of losing it. Lori was the same old same old, except she gained probably around 30 pounds, having a watermelon for a stomach. Most days, we had the same routine. Some stayed on watch, some looked for supplies, some looked for warmer clothes, and everyone, I mean EVERYONE, searched everywhere possible for food. "Kat... We need food... Hershel has been dosing, Lori is beginning to get sick to her stomach from it, and Carl is starting to get stomach cramps." I nodded. "See that shed out there?"I asked him, pointing to the grey, tin shed. "Yeah." He gave me a look. "There's tracks... I'm thinking there's some critters in there, trying to shelter themselves... I'll go check it out... Keep the group in here." Rick nodded, and we both wetness separate ways.

I carefully, steadily walker around the shed, following the light prints in the frost on the ground. I stopped when I saw a fairly large, furry critter trying to scramble into the bushes. I quickly pulled my bow up, letting the feather of the arrow slip between my finger tips, hitting the critter in the head. I picked it up, then walker inside. I rolled my eyes when I saw dog food on the wall, then handed the food to T-Dog. I then noticed Daryl had a bird. "Still need more food to get the whole group fed... But I'm good for a couple more days... I'll go hu-" Right then, T gave out the signal, telling us walkers were coming. I huffed as we began getting everyone into vehicles. I took out my knife, taking down one of the walkers with the light energy I had. Daryl pulled me onto the back of his bike, and I lightly clung to his back, feeling slight warmth. It was probably around 30 degrees, since it was still morning, but I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, because Beth was wearing my jacket. Even though she, and everyone else in the group protested, she got my jacket, because hers was wayyy too thin. "If you'd wear your own damn jacket, you wouldn't be trying to snuggle into me..." Daryl's voice grumbled. I stopped curling to him, holding onto the side of the bike. Daryl didn't say anything, only huffed.

We stopped a little up the road. I hopped off of the bike, and the rest of the group came out of the cars. "I'm going this way... Make sure no herds are coming this way." I mumbled walking away from the group. I was down the road, looking for any signs of walkers, not finding too much other than some old foot prints, jumbled around the streets. I sighed, kicking some dirt. My stomach hurt, the hunger making me want to lay down, but instead I walked back to the group. Rick and Daryl had went to go hunting, so I sat on top of a car. "I should go the other way, try and find maybe a squirrel or two." I mumbled. I hopped off of the car, but Rick and Daryl came from the brush.

They explained what they wanted to do, and I gave him a look. "You think we could really do it?!" Beth asked, getting excited. "Hell yeah we can. C'mon!" Rick smiled. He looked at me, and I raised my eyebrows at him. "I'll go in the fence, and we'll all have a station with a gun... We'll get that field cleared in no time." I scoffed. "You ain't goin' in any walker infested field... Got more to worry about." "Well I'll do it." Glenn said. I shook my head. "Too risky." I mumbled. "Then who do you expect goes in?" "Katherine should." We all looked at Maggie. "Not that I want her in the most danger, but she's the best at hand to hand combat... And she's one of the fastest people here." I turned my attention back to Rick. "I agree."

We were at the prison, where Rick wanted to clear out for a new camp. He told everyone their positions, and I thought Daryl's eyes were going to pop out of his head. "She's doing what?!" His voice boomed. I rolled my eyes. "I have to close that gate over there..." I said, nodding my head to the fence gate. "No... No no no." Daryl said, shaking his head. I raised my eyebrows. "Dixon, what have I said to you a million times? I'll do whatever the hell I want.." With that I went into my position, and so did everyone else. Daryl stomped there, a scowl on his face. I got prepared to go in. I huffed, then looked at Lori. "Go ahead... Open it."
