"Thanks for the entertainment, loser. See you tomorrow!"

The leader of the pack of girls waved at you, a smile forming across her perfectly glossy lips as she sashayed down the hallway with the rest of her posse.

You stood still, your back against the wall of the hallway, and your head hanging in shame and embarrassment. You heard the snickers and mocking comments of the students nearby, making your eyes burn with tears of frustration and of hopelessness. Sniffling quietly, you quickly blinked back your tears before scurrying over to the gym to sit and do your homework while your boyfriend practiced.

"Hey, (f/n)!" Suga was stretching out his arms as he greeted you happily and walked over to you.

"Hi, Koushi," you responded softly and smiled, feeling your sadness wash away upon seeing the warm smile on his face.

He gave you a short greeting kiss, but you pulled him towards you for another kiss before he could break away. "Are you okay?" he asked quietly as he contemplated your slightly concerned face with his soft brown eyes.

"Yeah," you lied and gave him a small smile, "I'm fine." You plucked some stray fluff off of his shirt before patting his shoulder and walking over to your usual corner to do your homework.

You refused to tell Suga that you were being bullied. You had no idea how he would handle hearing about it, and you thought it would be better for you just to keep it to yourself. The bullying wasn't unbearable. You were strong enough to handle it. You didn't want to get Suga involved in some petty drama when he already had so much on his plate.

The bullying had been going on for a while, and the group of girls who tormented you often enjoyed doing so by insulting you and embarrassing you in front of your peers. Since Suga was never around when the bullying took place—since he was usually at or getting ready for practice—he had no idea that it was happening. The girls also liked to spread rumors, but Suga hadn't seemed to catch wind of any of them either.

Whatever. A few insults here and there as well as public humiliation wasn't going to kill you. But, as much as you knew you could handle it, you still wanted it to stop. You didn't feel strong enough to stand up to that group of girls, though, so you were stuck. No matter whether you chose to rebel or concede, you still faced the risk of embarrassment.

It was times like these when you really hated girls and all the drama they generated.

The next day, after school, you made your way to the gym as usual. On your way outside of the main school building, you spotted the group of bullies conversing with a few of the popular guys.

Ugh, they're so disgusting, you thought as you tried your best to make it from the main building to the gym without being seen. Just as you thought you were home free, you heard a familiar and annoying voice pierce the air nearby.

"Where do you think you're going, bitch?" You turned and saw the leader of the squad of bullies watching you, her lips turning upward into a smirk. The group of girls giggled as they watched you sheepishly turn around to face them. "You've got some nerve."

"It's called freedom," you snapped quickly before you had time to choose your words carefully.

"I couldn't care less about what you want," (girl's name) retorted, placing her hands on her hips, "I heard that you were flirting with (popular guy's name). Who told you that you could do that?"

"What are you talking about? I never did that!" you gasped. She'd made it perfectly clear that (popular guy's name) was hers. You didn't want him anyway. You had Suga.

"Don't lie to me! I can see right through you!" With that being said, she snatched a bottle of water out of her friend's hand and opened it over your head before you could react, drenching you in cold water.

You gasped as you looked down at your shirt, which was now starting to reveal your bra through the soaking fabric. The fact that your shirt was becoming more see-through made your tormentors laugh and pull out their phones to take pictures. You closed your eyes and tried to turn away from them.

"Put your phones away." A gentle yet stern voice spoke, making you open your eyes to see a familiar boy standing in front of you, serving as your shield. "You should be ashamed of yourselves. Is this what you do for fun? Torment other girls? (F/n) has never done anything to any of you, so you have absolutely no reason to treat her like this."

The girls now looked flustered as they searched for apologies and stumbled over their words. Suga simply stood in front of you as you watched him with amazement. You noticed that he was undoing the buttons of his jacket as he talked to the girls, and he soon removed it before draping it over your shoulders.

"I don't want to see this happen again," he stated finally, his tone flat as he watched the girls with a look of disapproval in his normally soft brown eyes. The girls nodded and scurried away. They hadn't expected anyone to stand up for you, and neither had you.

"Koushi... Why aren't you at practice?" you asked softly as he turned to face you, wrapping his arm around your shoulders and holding you closely to him.

"I had to talk to my teacher for a few minutes. How long has this been going on?" His eyes reflected deep concern, and you felt your heart twist.

"A few weeks..." you murmured, "I've known those girls since middle school and we've always hated each other."

"Why didn't you tell me you were being bullied?"

You looked down at your feet as the two of you walked over to the gym together. "I... I didn't want you to get caught up in all this petty drama. You have enough to deal with already..."

"So do you!" he retorted quickly, seemingly shocked by your excuse. He stopped walking for a moment and pulled you into a warm hug. "(F/n), you don't deserve to be bullied. You're the most wonderful girl I've ever met and I think you're beautiful. Don't let anyone convince you or make you think that you should be bullied." He placed his head on your shoulder and kissed your cheek gently. "And if you need my help, please let me help you. I don't care what the situation is. You're very important to me and I love you."

His caring words made your heart flutter, and you smiled. "I love you too, Koushi. Thank you," you responded and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

Sure, your shirt and parts of your hair were soaking wet, but you felt a wave of relief wash over you knowing that you had a boyfriend who cared about you and would help you.
